The large republic in discussion was under suspicion and criticism from the anti-Federalist even in the argument of constitution. But it is the vigorous argument that makes us clearly recognized the base of political philosophy needed by the large-scale republic, the scale problem faced by it and the necessary institutional arrangement that can solve the problems.The problem of national scale is closely related to political philosophy completely showed up in the discussion of constitution.
