Zhuo Renyue(1606-1636) was a literary genius, with early death, in the late Ming Dynasty of China. Like a meteor across the night sky, he shed indelible brilliance in the history of Chinese literature within his life of thirty-one years. His rich writing, unique thinking, a wide range of friends, lofty ideals together with his unfortunate life made him to be remarkable, and was praised as ‘intelligence brilliant’, ‘great tallent’, ‘ancient and modern scholars first class’. Like a shinning sea pearl on the beach, Zhuo Renyue’s contribution to the Chinese literature history should not be forgotten. Therefore, this paper made a comprehensive description of his literary thought. This paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter One: Background of Zhuo Renyue’s family and his life. As a well known literature talent in the late Ming Dynasty, he had a very enviable family background. Jiangnan Zhuo’s family has become prominent in Chinese literature in Ming and Qing Dynasties. However, with respect to the family background of accessibility, Zhuo Renyue’s personal life experience was frustrated. He has a tired of taking care of patient mother. The death of his son made him very sad. The traditional strength of family learning support and personal misfortunes both jointly created a deep feeling of sadness painful but open-minded man.Chapter Two: Research of Zhuo Renyue’s Poetry. Zhuo Renyue was a poet who paid attention to spirituality, to promote innovation, against conformism. His poetic thought are highlights of these features. He was opposed to around Seven extreme retro, also oppose the excessive pursuit of exquisite feelings Jingling single thread. He took part of character of Gong’an style, but without the overall acceptance. He was also an independent poetic scholar in the history of Chinese literature. Various themes of his poetry and innovative ideas always reflect the true personality. For instance, he was one of few scholars with creative allegorical poem, reflecting a strong his ideals and social responsibility in the Ming Dynasty; his poetry theme was relatively heterogeneous trend, although sticking to the traditional themes, but can propose new idea in the style of Chinese literature in the Ming Dynasty. His poetries showed different styles in different periods, whether it is pathetic affectionate, marvelous novel or atmospheric. Zhuo Renyue focused to show the unique personality of the true nature and the true predecessors on the basis of learning.Chapter Three: Research of Zhuo Renyue’s thoughts of Ci. His thought of poetic Ci was mainly reflected in his book of ‘Gu Jin Ci Tong’. As an excellent book of poetic style, ‘Gu Jin Ci Tong’ has great significance in the history of the past history of Chinese literature. Zhuo Renyue’s style of selecting different of items of Ci can was different from others, which could be seen in the comparison of two books, i.e., Zhuo’s ‘Gu Jin Ci Tong’, and ‘Lei Bian Cao Tang Shi Yu’ which was written by Gu Congjin. Due to a limited number of words, word for word learning concepts can not fully correspond to his creative style.Chapter Four: Research of Zhuo Renyue’s drama concept and Opera creation. Zhuo Renyue’s drama and theatrical creation showed a more comprehensive response to his literature and life. Its drama tragic unfortunate upbringing and life experience was closely related. But the comedy ‘Hua Fang Yuan’ also reflects the nature of his humor and optimism of strong inside. His ‘Xin Xi Xiang’ reflects the tragedy of his calm thinking of life, but also his status quo of the late Ming. In the comedy creation, Zhuo Renyue rewrite Meng Chengshun’s play, i.e., ‘Hua Qian Yi Xiao’, to ‘Hua Fang Yuan’, which showed Zhuo’s spirit and popular comedy talent.
