The Research Of Oil Painting Art About Yunjie Yu

Yu Yunjie is a famous oil painter and art educator in modern China as well as an important figure in the culture and art of Shanghai. He learnt from many maestros such as Yan Wenliang, Xu Beihong, Lv Sibai, Fu Baoshi and Huang Junbi, and then studied in Максимов.K.M oil painting training class, which helped to form his accurate modeling ability and extensive artistic achievement. Compared with the study of his oil paintings and educational achievement, the study of his theories is weaker. In order to study the artistic value and practical significance of his oil painting deep and systematically, and sort out the forming of the style, historical factors, artistic characteristics and reference significance, the author tried to study Yu Yunjie’s case under the macro context of Chinese modern art history, which can understand his aesthetic value comprehensively and accurately, and then to explore the cause reason of his style and aesthetic characteristics of art language.Through the study of Yu Yunjie’s oil paintings, the paper analyzed the change of his painting style and sort the unique art value out from his magnificent art learning experiences. The author gave an objective comment on his revelatory meaning to Chinese oil art development, especially to Shanghai’s oil paintings.The whole life of Yu Yunjie was influenced by Xu Beihong’s creative view of“Art for life” and Максимов.K.M’s socialistic realistic creative ideas. Combined with Chinese national art factors and aesthetic ideas, he learnt predecessors’ techniques and integrated Максимов.K.M’s style with Chinese ones to form the unique Yu’s painting style of “stable and accurate painting technique second to none; excellent shape expression and coloring in the one.” Following realism creative ideas and methods,combined with his own art and life experiences, Yu Yunjie painted the realities of life with simply themes and vivid technique, and created a lot of art works with times spirit. It is of great importance to go deep into the study of Yu’s oil painting art,including those expressional forms and methods. It had positive practicalsignificances for us to understand more about the development of oil painting in Shanghai and which enriched the artist case study in Shanghai’s culture and art.
