Investigation On Versions And Aesthetic Analysis Of Model Opera Based On The Reformation Of Drama In The Case Of Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy

The paper investigates Model Opera by the long_time perspective,which puts it into the twentieth—century history of China. From the late Qing Dynasty, under the candle light of the establishment of modern nation_state,Chinese traditional opera opened the process of modernity transformation.However, different from autonomy-oriented of western modern art,the modernity transformation of Chinese traditional opera were mixed with the function of propaganda,meanwhile with the affection of the realism of modern drama, a series of reformation were started.From the late Qing Dynasty,through May 4th, thirties, Anti-Japanese War, to new china foundation, the reformation of Chinese traditional opera was finally evolved into Model Opera.In order to show the aesthetic qualities of Model Opera, the paper chooses a case study on Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy. In 1958, Tracks in the Snow Forest written by Qu Bo was adopted to modern drama by Beijing People’s Art Theater.In the same year, Shanghai Peking Opera adopt the novle into modern peking opera with reference to modern drama,which be modified many times into Model Opera during the Cultural Revolution Period. The different versions of Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy are so orderly, and thus the paper will comb the realitionship of modern drama, modern peking opera, Model Opera by comparing the differences of these versions,and then display the generation process and the aesthetic principles of Model Opera.The authors of modern drama completed the sessions and plot of Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy,according to borrowing the formation of Chinese traditional opera.This design provided the basic plot frame of modern peking opera, Model Opera. From modern peking opera to Model Opera, the figures\plot\performance in different versions occurred different_degree changes. Analysis on these changes,we conclude that:The figures constantly deprived of huamanity, were ultimately transformed into drama roles according to the principle of polarization by revolution or nonrevolution. Meanwhile, the plot based on positive role absolute advantage were corresponding changed.In the principle of Afresh Knowing Age-old for Today and Foreign for China,the creater accomplish the design of new formula.Finally, Model Opera enters into "new_stylized" performance.Between the performance of peking opera and the real scene were melted into modern aesthetic ritual,which aroused the audience’s aesthetic expectation, guided the audience to accomplish self-reference, mold the National Character in the socialist era, who finally establish-modern nation_state like Utopia.
