Aesthetic morphology research on One-storeyed Building and The Beauty Weeping Palace by Yinzhannaxi is a new try for studying the aesthetic nature of Yinzhannaxi’ works as well as an effective approach for in-depth study. To tap the aesthetic factors of these two works of Yinzhannaxi, reveal the causes of their artistic charm, and delve into their Aesthetic morphological characteristics and aesthetic value is the main aim of this dissertation.The dissertation is composed of three parts:Introduction, Main Body and Conclusion. Introduction summaries the researches on Yinzhannaxi’s works since the start of21th century, including the research achievements on his theories of literature and art, his creation ideas and microscopic study of his poetries and novels, and elaborates on the significance of conducting aesthetic morphology research on One-storeyed Building and The Beauty Weeping Palace. Meanwhile, the aesthetic study results of previous researches and reasons for topic selection, significance and research approaches are also stated in this part.Chapter One focuses on the aesthetic morphological characteristics and aesthetic significance of One-storeyed Building and The Beauty Weeping Palace. The graceful form of the works is discussed in such three aspects as graceful character, graceful imperial garden, and graceful poetry, all of which have their own unique features and aesthetic value. To be specific, beautiful posture and neat figure of the character, her inner beauty that integrates emotion, wisdom, knowledge, her romantic ideal of seeking for her soul mate and her long-lasting affection all embody the gracefulness of the character and penetrate the works with a sense of splendid melody. At the meantime, imperial garden pictured in the works is pleasing to both our mind and heart and achieves the perfect blending of the character and scene. The whole works are permeated with the fragrance of books, intense passion, deep sensation, and a sense of achievement in pursuing dreams, demonstrating strong sensible and shocking aesthetic value that could tug readers’ heartstring. As for the poetry in the works, they not only feature the traits of emotional beauty, picturesque beauty and rhythmic beauty, but also create an exquisitely elegant world of art and system of artistic conception. The author probes deeper and proves that the manly personality of the beauty and her brave behavior against forced marriage visualize a magnificent beauty, thus highlighting her spiritual beauty that earns readers’sympathy, admiration while inspiring them with a spiritual force.Chapter Two is mainly about the lofty and tragic forms and aesthetic value shaped in the two works. First of all, the loftiness pictured has the following features:the lofty sympathy for poor peasants, the lofty love for her beloved, lofty respect for knowledge and lofty spirit with shocking force. Secondly, obviously, two works are distinctive tragedies. They vividly describes the conflict between individual love and family interests, the conflict between rationality, the struggle and compromise between two different powers, the conflict between desire and morality etc., achieving an aesthetic effect of indicating the victory of truth and loftiness.Chapter Three concentrates on two works’characteristics and aesthetic value of comical and ugly aesthetic forms. By analyzing comical Bailaogua, a character in the works, the author concludes that it is the extreme poverty that gives birth to such a maladjusted, comic and facetious form of the character, which greatly enlivens the plots and makes readers laugh while providing space for them to reveal and criticize some social problems. To sum up, comical characters in the works have the following features:exaggerated physical ugliness, ugliness that lacks vitality, facetious ugliness, kind-hearted ugliness, lovely ugliness, surrendered ugliness and vicious ugliness etc. To sum up, the chapter highlights beauty, affirms ideal and special value of ugliness.
