In China history Books, miscellaneous biography is an important genre, which originated in the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Xiang’s writes which have biographies for immortal, female is the example. The following persons, such as Liang Hong, Xu Guang both have books making biographies for special people. To the Six Dynasties, miscellaneous biography presented as a splendid sight. To Liang Xiaoxu’s bibliography book named seven-catalogue, miscellaneous biography had been considered as one part of history category. As the writing of miscellaneous biography maturing day and day, the research on grew along. In previous work, compiling and research about theory of miscellaneous biography both had great results. but it does not mean that there is nothing to du. This article may do something of compilation and the compilation basis, make a simple summary for the Six Dynasties miscellaneous biography, which we can see its items today.In the Six Dynasties, so many people wrote so many miscellaneous biography works. But most of them had been losed.The lost we can read today only about tenth. In this article, I will make some summaries for those lost. The lost which I had collected together, and its number was great. It has about four hundred miscellaneous biography books, and biography for individual person which publicized as an article takes about half of the number.
