The History Of Adverb In Beijing Modern Dialect (1750—1950)

Currently, the study of modern Chinese adverbs has been a hot point in the field of modern Chinese grammar, and the research on monograph is thriving. In 2005, Mr. Yang Rongxiang published the first monograph on modern Chinese adverb - "Modern Chinese Adverbs" ,which pushed modern Chinese adverbs to a height of a generation of more comprehensive and more systematic descriptions. The study of modern Chinese adverbs is launching like a raging fire throughout the country, for example, Mr. Zhang Yisheng published four monographes on "modern Chinese adverb". However, during the intersection period of the development of modern Chinese adverbs, 1750 - 1950, the two hundred years, the research scholars of modern Chinese adverbs is generally not "issued", and the research scholars of contemporary Chinese adverbs is rarely " involved ". So this period is in a " free" state. This paper is cut from this point , using the "Dream of Red Mansions", "Heroic Biography" "is under the red flag" as the language materials, will make a research on the synchronic disctiption and diachronic explantion of the development of the adverbs in this period.This paper is divided into six chapters except the parts of introduction and conclusion:The first chapter, "Overview the adverbs in Beijing dialect (1750-1950)." It is divided into three sections. The definition and the source of the Beijing dialect; the definition, grammatical function and classification of adverbs; and the classification and general description of adverbs in Beijing dialect.The second chapter, "The development of the scope adverbs in Beijing dialect (1750-1950)." It is divided into six sections. A comprehensive investigation will be made about these adverbs in Beijing dialect which are adverbs“fan”,“yigai”,“jin”,“dan”, and“zhi”. It is focused on their general developing process, the diachronic development, the evolution and the replacement in the interior of these adverbs. These things will be analysized as the focus that are the change and the development of the grammatical functions in two centuries from 1750 to 1950 and the description of diachronic changes of these adverbs in this period.The third chapter , "The diachronic development of the degree adverbs in Beijing dialect (1750-1950)." It is divided into two sections. A comprehensive investigation will be made about these adverbs in Beijing dialect which are adverbs“zui”and“ji”. It is focused on their general developing process, the diachronic development, the evolution and the replacement in the interior of these adverbs. These things will be analysized as the focus that are the change and the development of the grammatical functions in two centuries from 1750 to 1950 and the description of diachronic changes of these adverbs in this period.The fourth chapter , "The diachronic development of the time adverbs in Beijing dialect (1750-1950)." It is divided into eight sections. A comprehensive investigation will be made about these adverbs in Beijing dialect which are adverbs“ceng”“yi”“zheng”“jiang”“ganjin”“hu”“ji”and“zhong”. It is focused on their general developing process, the diachronic development, the evolution and the replacement in the interior of these adverbs. These things will be analysized as the focus that are the change and the development of the grammatical functions in two centuries from 1750 to 1950 and the description of diachronic changes of these adverbs in this period.The fifth chapter ," The diachronic development of the modal adverbs in Beijing dialect (1750-1950)." It is divided into five sections. A comprehensive investigation will be made about these adverbs in Beijing dialect which are adverbs“te”“qin”“kong”“bai”and“chen”. It is focused on their general developing process, the diachronic development, the evolution and the replacement in the interior of these adverbs. These things will be analysized as the focus that are the change and the development of the grammatical functions in two centuries from 1750 to 1950 and the description of diachronic changes of these adverbs in this period.The sixth chapter , "The diachronic development of the negative adverbs in Beijing dialect (1750-1950)." It is divided into three sections. A comprehensive investigation will be made about these adverbs in Beijing dialect which are adverbs“guan”“zhen”and“dagai”It is focused on their general developing process, the diachronic development, the evolution and the replacement in the interior of these adverbs. These things will be analysized as the focus that are the change and the development of the grammatical functions in two centuries from 1750 to 1950 and the description of diachronic changes of these adverbs in this period. At the same time, the approximate description about the development of these negative adverbs will be made in this paper.
