Objection:To study the expression of Gankyrin and (3-catenin in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues, so as to explore their roles in the pathogenesis of endometrial adenocarcinoma.Method:The expression of Gankyrin and β-catenin was detected in46cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues and10cases of normal endometrial tissues by immunohistochemistry. Discuss the relationships between those expression and age, invasion, lymph node metastasis, histological grade and operation-pathological stage. Discuss the relevance between Gankyrin and (3-catenin expression in endometrial adenocarcinoma.Result:1.Both Gankyrin and β-catenin were mainly localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The expression of Gankyrin in the endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues was significantly up-regulated compared to that in the normal endometrial tissues (67.39%compared to40.00%, P<0.05), while the expression of β-catenin in the endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues was significantly up-regulated compared to that in the normal endometrial tissues (78.26%compared to30.00%, P<0.05).2. The expression of Gankyrin in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues didn’t correlate with age, invasion, lymph node metastasis, histological grade and operation-pathological stage (P>0.05).3.The expression of β-catenin in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues correlated with histological grade, operation-pathological stage and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05), while it didn’t correlate with age and invasion(P>0.05).4. The expression of Gankyrin in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues had a positive correlation with the expression of P-catenin (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The expression of Gankyrin and β-catenin in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues were much higher than those in normal endometrial tissues, which indicated that they might be involved in the pathogenesis of endometrial adenocarcinoma.2. The expression of β-catenin in endometrial adenocarcinoma tissues correlated with histological grade, operation-pathological stage and lymph node metastasis, which indicated that it might be an indicator of assessing the disease severity and progression.
