Integration Of The Construction Project Cost Management System

The industry of project cost is going on rapid development with massive construction projects. In order to improve work efficiency, the industry has begun the construction of information, especially on the computerization of project cost that is widespread use of the software. Meanwhile, the government’s management departments of project cost, in order to provide the capacity and level of management, the transformation of the mode of development, is going to implement the information management strategy and explore the integrated management of project cost. But in the country, because of the lack of a unified information technology planning, and construction standards, it resulted in the formation of many "islands of information". In addition, in the construction market, because of the characteristics of the times such as investment diversification, market highly competitive pricing, valuation changing, it promote the intense of the project cost information (knowledge) resources by project owners, design departments, construction units, intermediary institutions, and government administrative departments. Therefore, this article propose information management system integration of project cost for the management department of project cost to meet the the urgent needs of project cost sharing and using, but also to meet the urgent needs of achieving the sustainable development of project cost industry, transition management service way and the implementation of information management strategy.In the context of the rapid development of project cost industry, knowledge economy and the information age, on basis of the project cost information integration theory, this article is beginning from the investigation of the using situation of project cost information system in our country, then analyzing the problem of technology and non-technology. The main contents are as follows:(1) Analysis of the construction cost information resources of China. According to the analysis of project cost information elements and relationship of information subjects in the cost industry, it has deduced project cost information management department is the best integrator at this stage. On the survey of our national, provincial and capital city of the project cost information network, it has summed up the current project cost information resource integration in technical problems and non-technical issues.(2) Building the project cost information resource integration model. According to the theory of information resources management, it has built the project cost information resource integration module from information collection, organization, and development and utilization of information.(3)Designing the project cost information management system integration solutions. According to information resources integration project cost model, it is proposed integration model based on project cost information network system. From the underlying data standardization, transport layer and application layer communication components for data exchange components, it were carried out in-depth study.(4)The empirical research on Wuhan City Construction Cost Information Management System.
