The curriculum system of design studies is always the hot top under discussion in field of design education, and the gap between ideal curriculum system and real one makes it an important and impending issue. Thus, standing from the perspective of the specialized curriculum system of industrial design, this research applies theories relating to studies on curriculum of education science, adopts a research approach of erudition (connotation interpretation)---uestion (confusion and reflection)---deliberation (analysis on the value orientation of constructing the curriculum system)---discretion (construction of curriculum system geared to "Integration of industrialization and informatization"). Literature analysis, survey research and statistical studies, interdisciplinary research, qualitative analysis and other methods are used in this research to probe into the construction of curriculum system geared to "Integration of industrialization and informatization" and tentatively propose practical solution.This thesis focuses on studying four issues:1、The necessity for the curriculum system of industrial design gear to the " integration of industrialization and informatization". As one of the main majors of design studies in China, industrial design experienced several updates and adjustment, and became well-developed. However, judging from the demands of stakeholders of industrial design, the status quo of curriculum system geared to "Integration of industrialization and informatization" is barely satisfying and there exist some problems, for instance, the courses in the curriculum system have no clear objective and excessively imitated; courses are narrowed and outdated in knowledge; the curriculum system becomes imbalanced; teaching approaches are limited; curriculum evaluation lacks of mechanism. Many issues exist in the curriculum system make it incompatible with the current social needs and hinder the development of design science education.2、The characteristics of curriculum system of industrial design geared to the " integration of industrialization and informatization ".Transforming from " traditional industrialization " to " integration of industrialization and informatization", the specialized curriculum system of industrial design adopted a development trajectory of leapfrog and spiral, rather than completely denies the original curriculum system. And it develops in a direction of informatization, internationalization and individuation, constructing the biased model and high-level capacity needs of talent structure.3、Requirements on the capabilities of graduates of industrial design posed by "integration of industrialization and informatization". Under the social background of "integration of industrialization and informatization", graduates of industrial design are required to possess more abilities, such as information insight and innovation ability. The author of this thesis puts forward a" competency framework of industrial design" to the undergraduates of industrial design of China.4、Specific measures for curriculum system of industrial design gear to the "integration of industrialization and informatization". The author of this thesis points out that the specialized curriculums of industrial design focus on enabling the undergraduates to have "professional ability of industrial design" and helping them have a four-dimensional integrated outlook on their abilities including knowledge, skill, attitude and method. This thesis outlines the competency framework of undergraduates of industrial design, which can be divided into general ability and unique ability. The general ability consists of design ability and non-design ability while the unique ability refers to the special majors or the professional ability under the educational objective provided by the school. Moreover, this thesis constructs the " four-dimensional" curriculum content system from the perspective of selection of curriculum content and probes into the theme, approach and context in implementing curriculums from the angle of system theory.The social background of "integration of industrialization and informatization" contributes the new characteristics and talent biased model of industrial design education. Again this social background, the demands of stakeholders of industrial design education on curriculum system transformation and the status quo and issues of current industrial design’s specialized curriculum system constitute the objective and direction of China’s industrial design curriculum system reform. The final conclusion of the research in this thesis:the specialized curriculum system of industrial design should gear to " integration of industrialization and informatization"; curriculum system reform should take a spiral approach from traditional industrialization to "integration of industrialization and informatization" focuses on " design pattern " curriculum geared to " integration of industrialization and informatization"; the curriculum objective should be the framework of industrial design professional ability"; the frame of reference for curriculum system design should be "modular curriculum structure model"; the reform should carry out in curriculum content reorganization, curriculum structure design and curriculum implementation so as to make the curriculum system of industrial design gear to the "integration of industrialization and informatization"...
