With the fast growing of the urban and industry of China, the serious environment pollution comes hand in hand, therefore, the requirement for the plant design is increasing. At present, plant design has got research on aesthetics, cultural and ecology. And, the plant design in China has got a long history on aesthetics and cultural, from theory to practice, however, on ecological function, much research focus on plant’s ecological function proving, rather than plant design itself.The religions idea, ideal personality, and pursuit of spirit, are mainly expressed through bamboo in ancient China The view created by bamboo, reveals the tradition nurtured by Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. In the research,10 kinds of bamboo is selected from riverside road of Fuzhou, and from plant design’s viewing, the research applied methods of sampling, statistic analysis and induction, focus on the bamboo’s purification function on PM and bacterium. The result is as follows:1. Gravimetric method:from time, height and direction 3 aspects to research on bamboo’s purification function on PM.And, the result shows, plant at the edge of the road has the function of purification, and the effect is increasing with plant’s width and height. When the speed of car is around 35km/h, and the plant’s height is≥1.1 m, and width is≥3.0 m, most dust is adsorbed by the plant, and when the height and width is increasing with the same proportion, the height’s effort on adsorption is bigger. The regulation of the adsorption changing with season is same in this 10 species, adsorption in spring and winter is much higher than autumn and summer. The order of adsorption is:Phyllostachys heterocycla 7.4150 g/m2> Bambusa eutuldoides var. basistriata 5.2371 g/m2> Thyrsostachys siamensis 4.6854 g/m2> Sinobambusa tootsik 4.2340 g/m2> Phyllostachys propinqua 4.0449 g/m2> Phyllostachys aurea 3.5811 g/m2> Phyllostachys bambusoides f. lacrima-deae 3.0648 g/m2> Bambusa tuldoides ’Swolleninternode’ 2.2127 g/m2> Bambusa vulgaris ’Vittata’ 2.1896 g/m2 > Bambusa eutuldoides var. viridi-vittata 1.8841 g/m2. Different height have relevant effect on adsorption, for Phyllostachys heterocycla ’Viridisulcata’, Thyrsostachys siamensis, Bambusa eutuldoides var. basistriata, Phyllostachys propinqua, Phyllostachys aurea, Phyllostachys bambusoides f. lacrima-deae, Bambusa vulgaris ’Vittata’, Bambusa tuldoides ’Swolleninternode’, the adsorption at 150cm is higher than 20cm, while the Sinobambusa tootsik and Bambusa eutuldoides var. viridi-vittata is opposite. At same height, the adsorption of Phyllostachys heterocycla ’Viridisulcata’ is highest. And, the adsorption varies with different direction. The analysis shows the main influencing factor of purification is species, branch angle, height, planting density, width and average wind speed.2. Natural sinking method:Measure the degerming rate of 10 species of bamboo in four seasons, and research on the effective distance and influencing factor of the purification. The analysis shows, the effective distance of Phyllostachys heterocycla ’Viridisulcata’and Bambusa tuldoides ’Swolleninternode’is 1-3.5m, and hyrsostachys siamensis is 2-3.5m, Bambusa eutuldoides var. basistriata is 0.5-2.0 m, Phyllostachys aurea,Bambusa eutuldoides var. viridi-vittata, Sinobambusa tootsik, Phyllostachys bambusoides f. lacrima-deae, Bambusa vulgaris’Vittata’,Phyllostachys propinqua is 0.5-3.5 m. And the order of degerming rate is Bambusa eutuldoides var. viridi-vittata(87.19%)>Phyllostachys aurea(85.99 %) >Bambusa eutuldoides var.basistriata(82.48%)>Thyrsostachys siamensis(81.65%) >Sinobambusa tootsik(81.07 %)>Bambusa tuldoides ’Swolleninternode’(79.94%) >Phyllostachyspropinqua(75.59%)>Phyllostachys bambusoides f. lacrima-deae(74.93 %)>Bambusa vulgaris’Vittata(66.76 %) >Phyllostachys heterocycla ’Viridisulcata’(61.40 %). The degerming of Phyllostachys heterocycla ’Viridisulcata’is best in spring, worst in winter, and the regulation of other 9 species is the same, best in summer and autumn, followed with spring, winter is last. The analysis shows the main influencing factor of purification is species, distance, and average temperature.3. Establish the relational model of influencing factor through the research on purification of PM and bacteria.The model of PM purification and branch’s angle: 1.9553×xi (yi=-xi-22.0493,i=1,2,……,10,p<0.05);and bamboo’s height:(yi=13.5265×xi-0.251093,i=1,2,……4,p<0.01); Density:(yi=0.6207+7.3503xi,i=1,2,……,10,p<0.01); Width:(yi=1.1710-0.2920xi,i=1,2……,10,p<0.01); Average wind speed:yi=0.3043×xi/xi-21.9536,i=1,2,……,5,p<0.05; And bamboo crown distant:yi=0.7655+0.0592xi-0.0143xi2, i=1,2,……5,, p<0.05,average temperature:yi=0.9375-25.6242/xi,i=1,2,……,5,p<0.01),and the model is accuracy predicted.4.With the result of PM and bacteria purification,the research deeply studied the model of purification and main influencing factor,and worked out the parameter. When the branch angle is above(22.049 3-4.303×1.7126)°,the purification is(1.955 3.4.303×0.3397)g/mm2.When the width is above(0.292 0.4.032×0.0221)m,the purification is(1.171 0-4.032×0.0595)g/m2.When the density is above(0.620 7.2.7654×0.4693),the purification is(7.3503-2.7654×0.968)g/m2.When the height is above(0.251 1-9.925×0.024)m,the purification is(13.5365-9.925×1.4929)g/m2. For degerming,the best is Bambusa eutuldoides var.virid/-vittata,Phyllostachys aurea,and followed by Bambusa eutuldoides vat.basistriata,Thyrsostachys Siamensis, Sinobambusa tootsik, Bambusa tuldoides ’Swolleninternode’,then Phyllostachys propinqua,Phyllostachys bambusoides f.lacrima-deae,and Bambusa vulgaris ’Vittata’,Phyllostachys heterocycla ’Viridisulcata’ comes last.When the distance to crown is(0.449 0-4.303×0.0264)m,the purification is(0.765 5.4.303×0.0256)%.And the principle of bamboo’s purify-functional landscaping is put forwarded.5. The research expresses the idea of bamboo’s purification on PM and bacteria, design with interspecific ornamental bamboos and other species, bamboo’s landscape maintenance and pest control, on the conception of habitat, aesthetics, culture, safety and comfort, and then put purify-functional landscaping into practice.The Bamboo in China has atheistic, culture and historical value, based on which we focus our research in finding a way that would allow us a certain degree of operability in landscape design, thus avoiding a monolithic usage of a type of bamboo landscaping. This will enable us a new way that would help address the problem caused by the limitation in the number of Bamboo of different kind, repetition of classical design method and it make sense to the practice.
