There are two main domains of ecological restoration theory and practical application research at home and abroad:the first domain focuses on forests, grasslands, rivers, wetlands, lakes, swamps, coastal districts, mine waste areas, urban rivers, as well as urban green space, and places particular emphasis on the study of the natural ecological restoration; the second focuses on the industrial park, focusing on simulating the material recycling mode of the natural ecosystems to establish the ecological economy. However, there is no research on the ecological restoration in the old industrial park. The long-time completion of the city’s old industrial park, the outdated facilities, technological backwardness, and low efficiency of resources have resulted in serious contamination of air, water and soil of the local and nearby regions, then led to the loss of biodiversity, landscape damage, degradation of ecosystem functions, and seriously harmed to the ecological safety. The contradiction of the growing needs of human beings and maintaining the self-renewal of the ecosystem is, in fact, the contradiction between man and nature, which has become increasingly apparent, restricting the sustainable development of the local economy and society. Thus it is practically significant to carry out the research on ecological restoration in the old industrial park for the application prospects. This article takes Qingshuitang industrial park, ZhuzhouCity, as an example, and discusses the ecological restoration pattern of the city’s old industrial park and its design for practical application.1. Choose the method of the permutation polygon graphic index to diagnose the ecological degradation of Qingshuitang industrial park. The index value of the three first-level indicators "vitality","organizational structure" and "restoring force" were0.11,0.09and0.15, and composite index value was0.11, which shows it was at the level of extreme degradation. The main reasons for the ecological degradation in this region are due to the intensity and frequency by human interferences which are far more than the bearing capacity of the ecosystem. Produced by the "high energy consumption, high pollution, resource-based" industries, a large amount of pollutants continues to be emitted into the atmosphere, water and soil. Together with the unreasonable urban construction, it led to the serious structural environmental pollution and irreversible ecological degradation, and even the complete loss of ecosystem functions.2. Analyze the typical measures and modes of domestic and foreign industrial park of ecological construction and summarize the four modes of the ecological restoration in the industrial park:the priority mode of the non-biological components recovery, the priority mode of the vegetation restoration, the priority mode of the ecological economy and the integration pattern of environment-ecology-development. According to the mission of the city’s old industrial park, and the characteristics of dominant factors causing the industrial ecological degradation, based on the characteristics of four modes, it is pointed out that the old industrial park such as Qingshuitang should select the integration pattern of environment-ecology-development.3. From the link between the ecosystem and the development system, establish the basic framework of "environment-ecology-development" mode (EED mode), and consider the relationship of "environment, ecology and development " in the industrial park. As for the layout, EED Pattern emphasizes the coordination of the environment, ecology and development. About environmental protection, it is essential to improve the efficiency of the processing, lower the cost of building and running by controlling the source and the terminal, and classifying the ways to cure the problems. In ecological construction, the functions of the recovery is at the top of the priority list, as well as the balance between species and populations, and at the same time, it focuses on the achievement of the aesthetic value and perfects the living environment. And about the development layout it takes the convenience of the people life and work into consideration in accordance with the logic of the circular economy operation, while the ductility should be covered in the co-ordination areas for the better development in the future. As far as the content, EED mode emphasizes the construction of ecological environment, ecology and development. About the environment, it classifies water, air and soil as the main objects; about ecological problems, it focuses on the vegetation restoration, considering animals and micro-organisms; and the development system is the link between human and nature, while it must follow the laws of nature and ensure the ecologicalization of industrial systems, habitat ecological systems, culture, infrastructure, logistic systems and information systems.4. In compliancewiththeprincipleof "Overall integration and Block design’", analyze the EED mode in the practical application to improvethe operabilityin the practical application. As to abiotic ecosystem restoration by adopting the concepts and methods of "ST+I", namely, controlling the input of the new pollution in the source (Source), treating the existing pollution in the terminal (Terminal), and enhancing the quality of the ecological base (Improvement), it comes up with the related prevention-control technology and the improved technology for habitat environment to cure the heavy metal pollution. For biological ecosystem restoration it places the selection of the functions and the network layout in a particular position; for the development ecosystem restoration it emphasizes the ecologicalization of development promote the ecological construction of the industrial park by adjusting the industrial structure and layout.5. Analyze the security system of the ecological restoration implementation as well as the identification of the ecological risks and the early warning system in order that the plan of the ecological restoration will be smoothly carried out in the course of implementation.
