Critical techniques and technologies in SWDC-4A system are investigated on the foundation of summarizing and expatiating the development of aerophotography digital camera. Light assembled wide-angle surveying digital camera technique, high accuracy POS technique, high accuracy inertial stabilized mount technique and light aerial remote sensing system integration technology are emphasized on. Based on the material application, the applied light aerial remote sensing system is built. The systems are used in high accuracy surveying and3D building modeling, it is more effective and inexpensive. This research project consists of following aspects:1. The scheme of single camera fixing and calibration is recounted by analyzing aberrance model and calibration principle. Single camera is calibrated by extended calibration wall.2. The principle of multi-camera assembling is analyzed, the obliquity of4sub-camera Is calculated to fit the assembling scheme. The scheme of frame assembling calibration is presented. Synchronized exposure of sub-camera is achieved, and the whole system is autocontrolled. The principles and methods about flight course planning, virtual center-projection image generation and quality examining of flight are expounded.3. The principle of POS is dissertatedsystematically. The frames of inertial navigation and aerophotography and the transformation between different coordinate system are analyzed. The transformation formulas form POS output to image externalelements are deduced. Computation principle of boresight misalignment angle is discussed. Adjustment model is designed, and the experiment method is put forward.4. Ground-to-ground calibration field and air-to-ground calibration field are built to calibrate the integrated remote sensing system. And the system can be built in several mode to fit different demands. The calibration index satisfied with the corresponding specification, and the system is steady.5. The system’s application to large-scale surveying could save much building and observation of control point, so that work and cost are reduced.6. The fixed oblique angles of sub-cameras and POS data with clear image could be used to3D representation of urban sight, fine modeling and visualization as a new effective technological scheme.
