The Lijiang basin which has typical karst geological landscape and unique localprehistoric culture, is extremely rare world natural heritage destination and quite alandscape characteristic tourist development area. However, the reinforcing economicactivity of the Lijiang basin, the continuously increasing tourism resources development, the change of land use patterns, which would cause local typical characteristics ofgeological landscape to move in an irreversible direction, ecological environment togradually become the trend of the unbalance. How to quantitatively evaluate theevolutionary tendency of ecological environment and land use/land cover of the Lijiangbasin has important academic value and practical significance. The dissertation have studied the evolution of the time series on the macroscopicecological environment of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and meso-scalevegetation eco-environment of the Lijiang basin which used the remote sensing and GIStechnology such as ENVI and ArcGIS software based on NOAA satellite NDVI productsGIMMS-NDVI, EOS satellite’s NDVI products such as MODIS-NDVI, MODIS-NPP. Theresults of the study show that vegetation eco-environment evolution generally presentdeteriorating. The research have two core parts, one is quantitative descriptive analysis onecovegetation spatial distribution and evolution, influence of human activity intensity inthe Lijiang basin, the second is the quantitative asssessment of ecovegetation evolution onthe natural factors of spatial scale and strength in the Lijiang basin. The first part, theauthor used multiscale analysis with GIMMS-NDVI, MODIS-NDVI and MODIS-NPP tostudy tendency of ecovegetation spatial distribution and evolution in the Lijiang basin, through the LUCC based on the TM/ETM remote sensing images interpretation, combining the different scales of NDVI and land use type to make spatial correlationanalysis, so as to reflect the human activities impact on the ecovegetation scale andstrength. The second part, the author applied geostatistics analysis on spatial distributionfeatures of meteorological elements in the Lijiang basin, spatial autocorrelation analysiswith the different scales of NDVI on the scale and strength of natural control factors inecovegetation evolution, and finally drew comprehensive quantitative evaluation combinedwith human activity influence factors for ecovegetation environment in the Lijang basin.Combined with TM land satellite data interpretation analysis, it shows that vegetationevolution in buffer area20km within Lijiang basin present alternate development betweenameliorating and deteriorating. So the author choose the meteorological factor which is oneof vegetation eco-environment evolution factors to perform spatial analysis, do Co-Kriginginterpolation analysis on the temperature and precipitation based on regional digitalelevation (DEM), and put spatial autocorrelation analysis combined with the meso-scaleMODIS-NDVI. The analysis indicates that the eco-environment evolution of Lijiang basinisn’t controlled by temperature and precipitation in general, and effect factors of evolutionfrom the theory of are mainly controlled by land use types.
