With the development of quantum information science, new types of quantumcoherent devices are proposed. For instance, the single photons device is a kind oftypical quantum coherent devices. Single photons state plays important roles inquantum information and quantum memory. Design of single photons quantumcoherent devices is undoubtedly of great significance. There are great progresses onthe Casimir effect recently. Since real system is always dissipative, energy exchangebetween the system and the outside world. So the Casimir effect in the dissipativesystem has valuable significance. In this thesis, we investigate the Casimir effect inone-dimensional dissipative cavity. We also investigate the coherent control of singlephotons transfer in low-dimensional coupled resonator array system. In Chapter one, we review the progress in quantum coherent device and explainthe significance of choosing this topic and the thinking of this paper. In Chapter two,we consider the Casimir effect in a one-dimensional cavity. Using quasimode theoryto describe the dissipation of the electromagnetic fields in the cavity, we obtain thedynamical Casimir-Polder force. Effects of the quasimode decay rate, the cavity sizeas well as the distance between the atom and the mirrior on the forces are alsodiscussed in detail. In Chapter three, we study the single photons transmission andquantum control in cross resonator arrays. It is found that there is Fano-Feshbacheffect in our system. We also analysis different roles of the dark state and bright statechannels for the photon transmission. In Chapter four, we study the atom spontaneousradiation rate and the electromagentic field lifetime in one-dimensional dissipativecavity. In the final Chapter, we give a summary of our work and a outlook of thefuture work.
