Just half centuries ago, We have never imagined this kind of situation that the global people can communicate with so easily together like now, at the same time, We didn't know we can be so close to living in very far land each other. Meanwhile, now that the development of science and transportation, the conception of countries become minimized so much.Everyone is the member of global village, at the same time, one person can possess with many countries's nationalities, passports etc. This is just what we call the cross-culture situation.Recently, many education, business, art societies emphasize on the coming of'Globalization','International area'.and 'Journalism', 'Communication'scholars also used to mention the definition of 'Global Communication','International Communication'and so on. By the way, what is on earth the definition of the'Global Communication'and'International Communication'?The Communication as the mutual basic understanding tool has already been changed to Internationalization. Then what is the biggest effect of Global Communication in our life?The main content of this thesis is on the effect of FDI(Foreign Direct Investment), especially the Foreign Direct Investment of Korea companies in China with designing new communication model of economical information flows among Korean investors and CEOs.Now that the low flexibility of Foreign Direct Investment and difficulty of investment have occurred with the big risk more than any other investment ways. So that, on the basis of the economy conception which the bigger the risk, the bigger the profit, the profit size of FDI investors are bigger than any other kinds of investment items such as stocks, real estates and so on.As we mention about the modern investors, there are no any investor who possess with perfect rational mind which can control their investment behavior and decision, and it's impossible to get exact information on the investment with genuine calculation ability. In addition to, most investors cannot have the perfect judging ability with basic investment instinct.For a couple of years, in the middle of debate of economy, politics, business, entertainment and mass media, the'Globalization'just used to be mentioned as a simple broad normal conception. Neverthless, this conception used to be described as the economic situation in our life such as cross-culture situation, culture import-export and so on.The Well-known British sociologist Anthony Giddens said that'Globalization'is the result of interaction of politics, society, culture and economy. It is revved up by development of information and Communication technologies, telecommunication, communicationopportunities and accelated the communication speed among global people each other. Giddens says "the development of communication technologies lead to the foreigners'direct investment. This situation has become the 'Foreign Direct Investment(FDI)'.This thesis made progress on the basis of understanding of geographically historical globalized situation between two countries, China and Korea. Even though, there was a political break moment between two contries for the time being, now two countries'often economical, cultural, educational, social exchanges made them closed a lot. Economical relationship cannot compare to any other politics, cultural exchange any more.The thesis consists of as followThe part of literature study consists of the history of Foreign Direct Investment, defi nition, and the recent situation of Foreign Direct Investment flows and changes. For the specific understanding of FDI, this part classified 5 sub-parts. The first, the definition of Foreign Direct Investment; the second, the history of Korea FDI; the third, other countries'China direct investment situation; the forth, the effect of 2008 financial crisis for the global FDI; the fifth, the position of Shanghai as the economical core in China.The Part 5 consist of relating theories of the thesis. In this part, we put the korea companies as the role of audience position. The main theories are "audience theory", "use and gratification theory", "information flows model", " Twp-step flows theory", "the role of opinion leader" etc.The Part 6,7 consist of the result of survey research to understand of the information flows and the effect of economic information of mass media for Korean Investors in Shanghai, China. Through result of the survey, we can clearly understand the korean investors'behavior for obtaining the economic information through mass media and interpersonal communication relationship.The Part 8 consists of the results of Korean investors interviews. For getting more specific interview result, the research design seperated from two kinds of interviewers. The small-middle business company investors and Big business company investors.The main purpose of this thesis is not just to research to get the simple result, but to support the relationship between two countries "China" and " Korea". To be closed together, two countries must understand each other very deeply.I wish that this thesis could help lead to more close economical exchange between two countries.
