A Study On The Theory And Practice Of Residents Property Income In China

With the development of national economy, it is inevitable for residents property income to increase gradually. The scientific judgment that conditions will be created to enable more citizens to have property income was first raised in Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is not only the heritage and development of Marxist economic theory, but also the great innovation of our country's income distribution theory in the new period. To carry out the Scientific Outlook on Development, it is the inner requirement to enable more citizens to have property income, which is of great significance for increasing the efficiency of resource distribution, narrowing the gap of personal income, promoting the harmonious development of society and economy, realizing social equity, and speeding the course of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.This paper is guided with Marxist economic theory, in which I have researched the property income theory in western economics, summed up systematically the Marxist property income theory, and traced back the development course of the thought of personal income since the establishment of the new China. Taking advantage of the sound research findings home and abroad and keeping in mind China's particular situation of reform and opening up, I first make an analysis of residents property income's connotation and denotation, its nature, its distribution foundation, and its basic conditions. Then, based on this analysis, I expound the characteristics of the residents property income in China, its current development, and its influencing factors. Besides, considering the different economic development in cities and countries, in an attempt to construct a relatively more systematic analyzing frame of residents property income so that we can come up with ideas and measures to enable more urban and rural residents to have property income, I make an intensive study of the ways of increasing residents property income, such as raising labor income, improving market system, innovating the system, and boosting the third distribution, etc.
