In recent years, the price of the silicon resource further increased due to the development of new industries, but as the blind expansion of production in many countries and regions, the supply and demand balance was once broken and the price was all the way down. However, with constantly updated technologies and a further classification of production levels and management, the price will gradually smooth. Some enterprises of low technical level will gradually be diverted and the market will return to prices determined by the supply and demand of high-tech products. Therefore, a price dynamics change function is needed to be introduced into the silicon resource investment assessment model.This paper combined quantitative and qualitative methods, static and dynamic studies, theoretical research and practical application and applied comparative, inductive and deductive methods to analyze structural growth of the silicon resource industry. Furthermore, it analyzed and predicted the future market demand and prospect. In the complete investment cycle of silicon resource project, the standard net present value of the final balance was presented by subsection integral area with the introduction of mathematical thought, thereby the total NPV within the investment cycle of the project can obtained be at any time.The innovative achievements achieved in this paper are as follows:From the subjective and the objective point of view, this paper analyzed the market nature and physical properties of the silicon resource, using logical mathematics ,statistical mathematics, integral calculus and qualitative and quantitative analysis , the paper combined the traditional Income Present Value Method and the characteristics of the silicon resource after continuous theoretical research. This paper obtained the following results and innovation:1. Defined the scope of mineral resources investment assessment, pointed out it is a method to predict the future value of the silicon resource, summarized two preconditions of the silicon resource evaluation and assessed the future expected profits based on the current market price system2. Introduced the time periodic functions of the production costs and the discount rate function of the project funds into the silicon resource investment evaluation model which reflected changes in net present value typically and authentically and thereby it has more practical significance in the pre-judgment of the future assets3. Constructed a integrated mathematical model which assesses the net present value of the silicon resource at any time within the project cycle and provides a scientific basis for the real assessment of mineral resources investment.
