Study On Efficiency And Performance Evaluation Of Construction Project Environmental Risk Management

Project construction and operation usually leads to great depletion of energy and resource and even followed by its' threat to environment in which we live, and which brings about the environmental risk of projects. So project managements have to face with pressures of project construction caused by environmental risks from requirement of sustainable development and policies of "building an economic society and environment friendly society". Although many measures have been taken by project management to decrease environment risks according to regulations of the government and yet these efforts have still lack of inner motivation and could not radically degrade environment risks of project construction. There still have two issues to be solved about how to improve management efficiency of project environment risks and how to objectively evaluate performances of environment risk of management. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the formation mechanisms of efficiency of environment risk management and to conduct deeper research on the evaluation models for the authorities to evaluate the performance of environment risk managements to present theory support and provide scientific decision basis for project environment risk management. Based on these, this paper of Research on Efficiency and Performanc Evaluation of Construction Project Environmental Risk Management would have important significance in theory and practice to certain degree. The main context in this dissertation as follows:The main context in this dissertation begins with the introduction of the background significance of this work and comprehensive review of risk management, environmental management, environment risk management, management efficiency and management performance is conducted, followed by the main framework of this paper. Secondly, the formation mechanisms of environment risk management are revealed based on the analysis of t efficiency of environment risk management and its' factors. Thirdly, index system about efficiency of environment risk management is proposed and the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is established to evaluate the performances of project environment risk and further be validated with case of hospital project in construction. Finally this dissertation ends with the conclusion about this paper and the future researches.The research finds and innovation of this paper is mainly indicated on three aspects as follows: (1) revealing the mechanism of risk management efficiency of construction project from the prospective of project risk; (2) proposing the performance index of the project risk management; (3) establishing the assessment model for the project risk management efficiency.
