The Song-Goryeo maritime trade is an important component in the history of Sino-Korea trade(The Song Dynasty was a ruling dynasty in China between 960-1279 CE ,and it succeeded the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period, and was followed by the Yuan Dynasty; The Goryeo Dynasty, established in 918, united the Later Three Kingdoms in 936 and ruled Korea until it was removed by the Joseon dynasty in 1392 ) .Based on the use of classification method, the dissertation takes up concrete elaboration and research of Song- Goryeo maritime trade from the perspective of various trade types. The dissertation mainly expounds the historic background of Song-Goryeo maritime trade, the actual situation of royal and tribute trading ,the comparisons of management system and exchange value between the two countries, various official-affiliatedly transaction mode and system initiated by diplomatic corps personnel ,the civil trade development run by Song merchants and Goryeo merchants and relevant trade policies of the two countries, immigration policies and cultural communication in the process of Song-Goryeo maritime trade etc.On the basis of those existing research achievements in the historic circle, the author attempts to carry out relatively creative positivistic research upon the Song-Goryeo maritime trade: divide the Song-Goryeo maritime trade into different trade types; enumerate detailedly the transaction objects of royal and tribute trading and then analyze their respective characteristics; demonstrate the principle of Equivalent Exchange in the royal and tribute trading by using simple statistical inference; conduct the comprehensive exposition of diplomatic corps personnel affiliated trade with such various trade types as Sidi Trade, public trade, private trade as its core( Sidi in the Song Dynasty was means of exchange of presents between the diplomatic envoys and the officials who received them. It played an important part in diplomatic interaction. The two Song Dynasties had a strict management of Sidi and forbad private trade of diplomatic officials on their mission or while receiving envoys. Dabo, popular name of Sidi in the South Song Dynasty, was smuggling in nature, which affected the normal foreign trade and communication); analyze the immigration policies of two countries and migration pattern of various immigrants, including merchants, literati, scholars, civilians.Through the analysis and argumentation above, the author attempts to draw the conclusion below:First, the Song-Goryeo maritime trade was featured with diversification. Under the surface of official trade, civil trade and smuggling trade, there were secondary and third-grade trade activities with various characteristics.Second, the Song-Goryeo maritime trade lied under the asymmetric institutionalized management mode, in which the institutional building and development of Goryeo Dynasty always fell behind that of Song Dynasty. Therefore, Goryeo's contact and interaction with Song was of high historic significance.Last but not the least, the Song-Goryeo maritime trade made great contributions to friendly relationship between two countries. Trade became the most important channel of realizing persons traveling and cultural communication, even the only access to political exchange.
