The Research On The Input-Output Model Of The Circular Economy

Currently, people in the whole world have recognized the necessity of sustainable development, and how to practice it takes more and more attentions of scholars both home and abroad. It is thought that the circular economy is available and important for practicing the sustainable development, and it is concerned and approbated by more and more researchers and governments in many countries. In this thesis, the changes of relationship in the macroeconomic industry chain of the circular economic system are as the starting point for analysizing. The input-output model of the circular economy is analyzed systemically by using the macroeconomic analysis tools and ecology classical theory based on the relative previous theories and studies. It brings some new ideas and approaches for the circular economy research both theoretically and quantificational.In this thesis, there four breakthroughs and innovations are as follows:Firstly, the physical input-output table of the circular economy is constructed in this thesis. The circle close state and their complex relationships of the industrial chains of the circular economy are been posted essentially by the point of the macroeconomic industry chains. And the complex relationships of the industrial chains of the circular economy are been described by using the input-output technique. This is not only a breakthrough of theoretical analysis of the input-output theory, but also a new point of view to analysis and research on the macroeconomic problem, which is more important. The unilateralism linear fashion is changed into closed-cycle style. This is the right direction of the economic development transform in our country and most countries in the world. Secondly, the emergy input-output table of the circular economy is constructed from ecological point. The emergy theory which is one classic theory of ecology is been introduced to analysis the application of the input-output technique of the circular economy. The ecological theory and the method of macroeconomic analysis are combine preferable, which makes the theory of the input-output analysis of the circular economy further improved. And those are basic theories of important application conditions on the input-output analysis of the circular economy, especially on ecology view.Third, the recycling paths in the circular economy are proposed in the thesis. The detail resources recycling process in the circular economic system are described based on many practical cases of the circular economy analyzing. And six recycling paths are proposed, which makes the theory of the circular economy further improved.Finally, the principle of the circular economy evaluation and the coefficients and indexes are proposed in both ecology and economic view. Those coefficients and indexes are inherited the advantages of the input-output technique be used analyzing macroeconomic issues. Therefore they calculations only are based on the input-output model of the circular economy. And they can not be fully measured by any other macroeconomic analysis tools.
