Research On The Governance Structure Of Closed-Loop Supply Chain Based On Circular Economy

With the development of information technology, consciousness of environmental protection and globalization in economy since 1990s, the economy operation mode and enterprise management mode have evolved a lot, so scholars and practicers pay close attentions to circular economy and closed-loop supply chain. The circular economy is the best way to realize sustainable development, and the closed-loop supply chain is a good carrier to promote the circular economy development. The closed-loop supply chain resulted from not only the evolvement of enterprise operation but also the need for developing circular economy. However, there exist several problems, such as lack of drive to construct the closed-loop supply chain in enterprise, diseconomy in operation for participators and inefficiency as a whole in the practice of closed-loop supply chain. So there is some certain theoretical value and practical significance for the paper to research into the governance structure of closed-loop supply chain.The dissertation includes two main parts: the closed-loop supply chain theory and the governance structure theory. The closed-loop supply chain theory consists of casual model, structure model and closing-pattern option, and the governance structure theory consists of definitude of governance problems, research of governance mechanism, interior governance and exterior governance. Especially, the paper focuses on the research of governance structure theory and provides theory guidance for the practice of closed-loop supply chain through the research of governance mechanism, interior governance and exterior governance. The concrete research contents include:Firstly, the paper built the bi-engine casual model of the closed-loop supply chain. The research conclusion is that the interior drive for enterprise to construct the closed-loop supply chain is economic benefit, and the exterior drive is regulation of government. Both of the drives determine whether the enterprise constructs the closed-loop supply chain. The research analyzes and discusses the casual model through the static and the evolutionary game theory.Secondly, the paper built the diamond model of the closed-loop supply chain. Through analyzing main activities of the closed-loop supply chain, the paper classifies the main participators of the closed-loop supply chain into two sorts: main doers and related actors. Then the paper researched on the elements of the closed-loop supply chain and the relations between them based on the system theory.Thirdly, the paper put forward three factors theory of pattern option of the closed-loop supply chain. The conclusion is that the factors of government regulation, economic benefit and technical link determine the pattern option of the closed-loop supply chain, and the possible selections are micro closed-loop supply chain, medium closed-loop supply chain and macro closed-loop supply chain.Fourthly, the paper researched on the governance mechanism of the closed-loop supply chain. First of all, the paper analyzed the governance structure system of the closed-loop supply chain, and pointed out that the system consists of interior governance system and exterior governance system. Secondly, the paper analyzed function mechanism of closed-loop supply chain governance, and showed that the core problem of closed-loop supply chain governance is interest distribution, incentive compatibility, information sharing and decision making coordinate. Lastly, the paper discussed the logic framework of the closed-loop supply chain governance.Fifthly, the paper researched on interior governance of the closed-loop supply chain. Selecting the closed-loop supply chain with remanufacturing as research object, the paper did a comparative research on the return efficiency and performance of closed-loop supply chain when the return cost is same and different. Also the paper researched on the service mode of collecting and remanufacturing that main participators should adopt considering the different product technology levels in the micro closed-loop supply chain. At the same time, the paper researched on the optimal contract structure which the manufacturers incent the retailers in the medium closed-loop supply chain with retailer collecting.Sixthly, the paper researched on the exterior governance of closed-loop supply chain. The conclusion is that the principal part of governance is government, the object of governance is main doers, and the measurements of governance include supervising regulation exterior governance and participating regulation exterior governance.The paper's main innovation points are as followings:(1) The paper built a diamond model of closed-loop supply chain, brought the different types of closed-loop supply chain into a specific system and researched on the relations between elements in the diamond model based on system theory.(2) The paper provided three factors theory of pattern option of the closed-loop supply chain. That means the factors of government regulation, economic benefit and technical link determine the pattern option of the closed-loop supply chain(3) The paper compared the return efficiency and operation performance in the closed-loop supply chain with collecting and remanufacturing when the return cost is different. The paper also researched on the main doers' service mode of reverse logistics when the nature of product is different in the micro closed-loop supply chain and the optimal incentive contract for manufacturers to incent retailers in the medium closed-loop supply chain with retailer collecting.(4) The paper put forward the theory of supervising regulation exterior governance and participating regulation exterior governance. The paper analyzed the optimal policy selection for the government to supervise enterprises through the game theory. Furthermore, the paper researched on the government's policy selection of guidance governance through anatomizing the policy system.
