Many scholars have conducted researches on Indian software from the perspective of both the macroscopic country level and intermediate industrial level, focusing on the exploration of the success factors and its export-oriented strategy, with quite insuffcient studies on the subject from the perspective of the microscopic enterprises level. Since enterprises are the micro body of the industry, any governmental industrial polices have to be implemented by the enterprises, thus, we shift from macroscopic and medium level to microscopic level by focusing on the exploration of the internationalization of Indian software enterprises under the leap-forward campain formulated by Indian government. The thesis tries to analyse how the software enterprises are gradually internationalied by taking the advantage of both external factors and internal operational capacity in the process of software industry development. The thesis puts emphsis on the anlaysis of the entrance models, influential factors and both economic and social benefits of the internationalization of Indian sotware enterprises, and also puts forward policy suggestions about the internationalization of Chinese software enterprises.It is a very lopsided view to attribute the success of the internationalization of Indian software enterprises only to the comparative advantages of labors and the great demands for software in international market, because as a country with these two advantages, China is far lagging behind India in this regard.
