Nonprofit organization is the increasingly important social institution in the modern society, the positive one bears and remedies between the social demand and the government's supply. The idiosyncrasy, sense of mission, leading ability, leading style and leading strategy of the nonprofit organization leaders have heavy influences in the organization performance, even to concern the whole developing organization.The study examines the leading behavior of nonprofit organization and organization performance. It is "leading behavior" and "organizational performance" for the factors with the LBDQ of Halpin. According to the theories of the leading behavior and the organizational performance, this study constructed the questionnaire and focused on leaders and members of the nonprofit organization in Taiwan. This research surveyed the organizational characteristic of nonprofit organization, the leader of the personal characteristic, the leading behavior, and the organizational performance.The questionnaire and effective respondents summed up 47.4%, through the data collection and statistical analysis for leadership as following: (1) Leader's personality paid much attention to the nonprofit organization that would be changed with difference of the times. (2) Leader's ability paid much attention to the nonprofit organization increasingly with the society's changes.
