Study On The Systematics Of Regional Tourism Cooperation And Applied Research On It

It's becoming an important tourism policy to promote regional tourism nowadays in China, therefore regional tourism cooperation is coming to be the most concerned matters for many areas. However, it has not showed desirable effect and progress as expected in the cooperation because of the random and blindness. Apart from the reasons on system and market, this problem is caused largely by the absence of proper guidelines and patterns. Undoubtedly, the theory and viewpoint of system is the best tool to analyze and settle the exiting problems in regional tourism cooperation.Based on the cognition and analysis, the paper regards the regional tourism cooperation as the fact that more than one relatively-independent regional tourism systems are merged to the larger system, which has developed some organizational structure and movement pattern itself to serve the set goals. In this research, it put forwards for the first time that regional tourism cooperation is a certain kind of engineering system and define the system of regional tourism cooperation (abbreviated as SRTC) as "an open organic integer (entity) formed by the reciprocity of all the concerned factors that participate the tourism cooperation in a certain region", which takes on all characteristics of common systems. In general, the SRTC is composed of such four sub-systems as object,process,organization & management and support, each of them has its own setup, which has turned into the basic frame and skeleton of the whole study. This cognition and method is definitely a kind of innovation for the research on regional tourism cooperation.Object system is the basis and precondition for the existence and development of the SRTC, it usually corresponds to the regional tourism activities and manifest the hierarchy structure in its composition elements. The macroscopical composition elements is made up of the tourism clusters in related areas, and the medium-scale composition elements is the tourism in these areas, while the main part of the microcosmic is tourism enterprises.
