Study On The Effectiveness Of China's Industrial Policy Under The Circumstance Of Economic Globalization

Under the circumstance of economic globalization,industrial policy, as the primary means for a government to intervene actively in economic activities of industries, its effectiveness, has a direct influence on industrial competitiveness, and further, on the economic interests of one country. The effectiveness of industrial policy is a great theoretical and practical subject that we need to face and solve.Starting from the mid- 1980's, researchers of our country have begun the systematic study of industrial policy, many monographs and essays were published, which studied the various issues existing in the practicing of China's industrial policy from different points of views, most of these studies focus on what functions the industrial policy could do and how to regulate industrial activities. However, there are very few essays and monographs specialized on the systematic study of the effectiveness of industrial policy. In the thesis, it is demonstrated that the effectiveness of industrial policy is the deciding factor of whether it's necessary.
