Collaborated Replenishment Strategy For Supply-Hub With Uncertainties

The market competition is no longer between among enterprises but among supply chains since 21 century. Collaboration between partners becomes one of the important issues in supply chain management. In an assembly supply chain, such as electronic products and automobile supply chain, one product is often assembled by thousands of components supplied by hundreds of suppliers, which makes the collaboration between partners of assembly supply chain is more complex. Supply-Hub is a new supply chain collaborative operation mode developed from enterprise's practice, which can realize collaborative operation of assembly supply chain. This paper has studied collaborative replenishment of assembly supply chain based on Supply-hub. Combined with theoretical analysis in areas of management, operation research, system decision making, optimization modeling, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, collaborative replenishment strategies based on Supply-Hub and values of collaborative replenishment were studied.Firstly, distributed VMI mode and Supply-Hub mode were two main supply chain collaborative operation modes. Based on suppliers'operation of bulk production and batch replenishment, characters of collaborative operations of the two modes were analyzed, and then Supply-Hub could realize vertical collaboration and horizontal collaboration between partners of supply chain was proposed. The decentralized replenishment model based on distributed VMI, the decentralized replenishment model based on Supply-Hub and the collaborative replenishment model based on Supply-Hub were established. Number analysis was used to comparative supply chain performance under the three replenishment models, which showed that collaborative replenishment model besed on Supply-Hub could reduce supply chain cost and improve supply chain response.Secondly, the collaborative replenishment strategies based on Supply-Hub under stochastic demand were studied. Decision models under decentralized replenishment strategy, collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub without collaborative quantity and collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub with collaborative quantity were established. It is approved that collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub without collaborative quantity was always better than decentralized replenishment strategy. The condition was analyzed where the collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub with collaborative quantity was better than that without collaborative quantity.Thirdly, supplier decentralized decision model and Supply-Hub collaborative decision model under random yields were established. Nash equilibrium between suppliers under supplier decentralized decision model was approved. The completely collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub was always better than the supplier collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub, and the supplier collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub was always better than supplier decentralized decision. Then newsvendor model was expanded to multi-periods, and effects of number of periods on the three replenishment strategies and advantages of Supply-Hub collaborative decision than supplier decentralized decision were analyzed.Finally, under the constraint of service level of supply chain, the collaborative replenishment strategies based on Supply-Hub under stochastic components'lead times were studied. Decision models under supplier decentralized replenishment strategy without horizontal collaboration, and collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub without common replenishment epoch and with common replenishment epoch were established. There was only a group of optimal value of decision variables under the three replenishment strategies. The collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub without common replenishment epoch was always better than supplier decentralized replenishment strategy, but the collaborative replenishment strategy based on Supply-Hub with common replenishment epoch was not always better than that without common replenishment epoch.
