Web Service is the epoch-making new technology of the Internet. The next generation Internet is a user-oriented, service-centric and broad integration environment. With the background of economic globalization, it can be achieved through the Web Service technology that different economic entities get the efficient and real-time connection with each other to realize the object of roboticized collaboration in the whole industrial chain. With the help of this new technology, it is able to meet the challenge of the new era of"Collaborative Commerce".Web Service transaction management is a key component of the service computing architecture. Furthermore, it is also a new burgeoning and interdiscipline research field in Web Service. Although current tranditional transaction technologies are wide used in the fields of database and distributed management system, they can not satisfy the requirement of the Web Serivce environment. There are four characteristics are different from current tranditional transaction environment:1. Autonomy: The transaction participants are coming from different interest group, which leads to their strong autonomous decision abilities. These abilities are shown concretely that each resource is under the complete control of its provider in the transaction proceeding.2. Interaction: Interaction is a remarkable characteristic of the Web Service transaction, which cause the long duration and uncertainty of the transaction.3. Mistiness: The abundant services and the compositions of the Web Service transaction cause the mistiness of its object and result.4. Selectivity: The relationship between participants changes from obey-control to bidirectional selection. Thus, Web Service transaction management meets so many challenges. Firstly, it is harmful for service provider to adopt the exclusive long-term locking policy in transaction proceeding. Secondly, strict atomicity requirement causes the rollback of whole transaction while any service of it is out of stock. Finally, it is difficult to integrate the new transaction model with the legacy transaction management system. To solve these problems, it is explored in the methods of isolation and atomicity relaxtion and the integration framework in this thesie. At first, being endowed with apperception ability, a service provider is able to participate or quit transaction autonomously to protect its benefit optimization. Secondly, with the help of DAI (Distributed Artificial Intelligence), service providers are able to optimize the resources allocation through the coordination among them. Lastly, an agile, scalable and mobile-agent based integration framework for Web Service transaction management is proposed to support the two-phase transaction coordination and the combination of multi-transaction models.According to the methods listed above, several researches are taken in this thesie. The main contributions of them are listed as follow:1. It proposes a transaction-aware coordination protocol, named taTHP, in the background of autonomous transaction environment. In consideration of the characteristics of Web Service environment, the active participation ability is firstly introduced for the resource provider in transaction coordination. The provider is able to evaluate the success probabilities of every resource requesters by the communication between them and choose the sound one to be granted. Simulation results show that, it can be confirmed that taTHP can achieve better resource allocation in a small scope of candidates.2. It proposes a group-decision coordination protocol, named GDCSP, in the background of collaboration transaction environment. GDCSP is a direct coordination protocol based on taTHP. It first introduces DAI methods into the fields of transaction management. With the help of the clear object and mechanism of the collaboration, the resource providers can work together to optimize the resources allocation. It is also verified by the simulation that GDCSP can achieve optimization without expanding the scope of candidates.3. It proposes a transaction integration framework with the mobile-agent based implementation to satisfy the requirement of the two phase transaction coordination. This framework can alse sovle the integration problems between the framework and the different transaction environment by using the mobile-agent technology. Moreover, it can alse reduce the communication cost of taTHP and GDCSP presented in this thesis. Finally, this framework with notable characteristics of expansibility and difficulty gives strong support to the transaction management for the Open Web Service Process Management Platform and its innovation value is verified by the practical application.
