Synergistic Learning is a new learning paradigm which combined various educational theories,learning technologies and educational psychology theories(such as Whole Person Education,Constructivism,Connectionism,etc.),under the background of Internet Communication Technology(ICT) development.Its core concept is a 4 components reciprocal interactive structure which comprised of Individual Short Term Memory,Individual Long Term Memory,Group Short Term Memory and Group Long Term Memory.This interactive structure then creates 5 fields:which are information field,action field,knowledge field,emotion field and culture value field.These 5 fields also have influences on each other,and as a result of such nondeterminism(Reciprocal) interaction,individual constructs knowledge inside.The same process also builds up group knowledge.Social interaction shapes individual's knowledge construction and vice versa.As a general theory for unifying multiple educational viewpoints,the Synergistic Learning is especially important,considering that personal mobile computing is at the door steps.This research focus on the question of how to create and connect information fields of synergistic learning.The information field is the physic field of the 5 fields.Learner's internal psychological movements are transformed into physic symbols by various behaviors,and the information field has the symbols recorded,calculated and delivered. Consequently,the symbols influence other ones' knowledge construction process.The information field can be considered as some transparent media which enables social interaction.But,how can we actually implement such a field? What are the fundamental problems must be solved,and how to solve? Would it be only theoretically possible or practically efficient? To which extent can we implement the information field by utilizing currently available technologies? How to support indeterminism interaction? The ultimate goal of this research is not just explaining a specialized solution to the information field,but a general approach for constructing the field,by first exploring authenticate problems,then abstracting them,and finally solving them with abstract methods. The first chapter introduces the Meta model of synergistic learning,its psychological and technical backgrounds,and some early development activities(the synergistic annotating tool and construction tool).The second chapter explains the general pattern (message passing) discovering of info field.This pattern enables the interaction of heterogeneous systems.The third and fourth chapter explains how to converge message passing technology with main paradigm of software development,such that knowledge of single system development can be transferred to heterogeneous system composition,in order to ensure development efficiency.The fifth chapter discusses the currency feature of information field,as well as its computation and programming.The pi-calculus is a capable language for describing currency problems,but its programming depends on functional paradigm(lambda-Calculus) and language oriented programming technology.The sixth chapter illustrates some related technologies of synergistic learning platform construction,such as workflow,data analysis,test plan design,and technology architecture.
