Diffuse Photon Technology could be used to determine the optical characteristic of object.Diffuse photon technology can image the distribution of optical characteristic of heterogeneous object in turbid medium, such as white paint, milk, human tissue.Diffusive phenomenon occur when light transmit in turbid medium,at same time light may be absorbed when there exist the absorption mass.By interpreting and deducing the photon diffusion equation(DE),the migration behavior of light in turbid medium was illustrated,at the same time physical meaning of parameter involved in DE was simulated and interpreted. The reconstruction algorithm, based on SVD with singular value weaken method, was established,by which the absorption coefficient distribution map had been reconstructed, having a good noise rejecting performance. To solve the error introduced by discretization, the average weight matrix reconstruction algorithm was introduced in the paper. The multi-modality reconstruction was introduced and self-adapted local threshold edge detection algorithm, based on 3 order B-spline,was established,by which the fusion of ultrasound information and optical information was realized. The single data acquisition technology was developed, which segmented the background information from entire data, solving the large dynamic range problem of T/R module group space distribution. This technology provided the probability for real-time diffuse photon imaging technology. To satisfy the large dynamic range requirement, the self-adaptive laser intensity modulation mechanism was developed, which provided the foundation with the DOT field for further development.
