As the fast development of wireless Network technology and embedded systems, the physical and virtual active space extending continually for human, Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) represent a novelty research domain in information technology field and can find their applications in many kinds of aspects. We systematically presented the basic principles, the sense of study, the situation of study of domestics and abroad, and the current study emphases and the direction of development of wireless sensor network. In addition, we also discussed the system model, structure and main algorithms. This thesis takes the research for collaboration technology based on wireless sensor network as a topic to lay emphases on the study for some key problems in wireless sensor network technology. These problems include location, target tracking with node collaboration, and Larger-scale WSN Collaboration Framework Based on Internet Services. Furthermore, some hot topics and development direction of WSN are discussed. The main contribution of this thesis includes:An Adaptive framework for target tracking in sensor networks based on Sequence Bayesian filter is investigated. Proposed a novel TimeWindows function for sequence decision. Within this framework balance between tracking precision and real time is achieved. This paper describes the design and implementation details of our recently developed prototype target tracking system using ultrasonic sensor network. A raplid and availability Filter and localization is proposed as the tracking algorithm. In addition, a series of important issues including the hardware setup, software architecture, synchronization mechanism. database design, statistics for tracking and alerting management, visualization etc. are also introduced. The experimental results for tracking of targets are positive. Through studying of the giving means of data sharing and infrastructure building, a new method for information sharing is presented in this paper. It can not only integrate all resource about Sensor on the network, whatever the resource's location and structure, but also provide the collaboration service. It is also open enough for new resources to be added in. The collaboration service in it should be intellectually found and used. To accomplish this task, the research must be executed in an environment of different fields' cooperation. This paper is an effective attempt to Internet Services based Sensor network information sharing, which provide a full solution for sharing data and functions. iWSN organizes large numbers of nodes distributed in Internet into a united overlay network and constructs an Internet oriented distributed massive system. Featuring with Grid platform, effective routing mechanism, adaptive replication management, and parallel file transfering mechanism, iWSN provides users with efficient, reliable collaboration service.
