The paper includes two sections. The first one is the related technologies of high speed ultra-long haul (ULH) system based on chirped fiber Bragg grating (CFBG) Such as the transmission of advanced modulation formats such as RZ , CSRZ and DPSK in the 10Gbps CFBG system the PMD control technologies in the 40Gbps CFBG system , DMS in CFBG system, optical pulse compressed and so on . The other is a new optical circuit switching (OCS ) system,named "A novel distributed optical circuit switching system with WDM and fiber-division ". With the thought of academician JIAN of Chinese scientific academy, a experimental demo system was designed ,which utilized a special signaling system. Different operations were implemented in this system and it was a self-healing optical network.. So, the innovations of the paper are as follows: Under the idea of academician JIAN, designed and constructed an experimention system , and compiled a control software used in every node of the system ; The RZ and CSRZ can be transmitted over 2500km with free error in a low power penalty on 3000km 10Gbps system platform based on CFBG dispersion compensation, without FEC and Raman amplifier ; The 40Gbps (10Gbps*4 ETDM) NRZ can be transmitted over 500km in CFBG dispersion compensation system, without FEC and Raman amplifier. And the distance can be improved greatly if the fast polarizaion scrambler and FEC ware used to reduce the effect of PMD ; Analyzed the effection of fluctuation of dispersion and power along the fiber in CFBG system , the result indicates that CSRZ has a better stability ; Discoverd that the interaction of different sign chirp is an average effect. Both an un-onefold up-chirp and an un-onefold down-chirp may break the pulse, whoes impaction will eventually compresses the pulse ; Research on the DMS in a transmission system based on CFBG, the result indicates that the delay ripple of CFBG havoc the DMS transmission .
