The invention and development of automotive have greatly changed the living styles of people. The application of Automotive Electronic Control Technology has brought forward the great evolution of the automotive fabrication, as well as the new meanings to the concept of the automotive with more perfect capabilities and more sufficient functions. Automotive Electronic Control Technology is the main application of the embedded system technology. The increase of the automotive capabilities has entered a new era to apply the advanced Electronic Control technology. In this era, the broad application of embedded systems, together with the application of the control technology based on the embedded software, has become the keystone of the development of the automotive technology in the future. Meanwhile, the values of Automotive Electronic Control Systems based on embedded systems have become more and more important in a whole automotive, which indicates that the automotives are becoming the products highly based on information technologies. With the development of Automotive Electronic Control technology, software has become the core component of the development of automotives. Facing with the high automotive consumer requests, the conventional software development methods have encountered the problems as follows: 1) strict environment protection and safety rules. 2) request for more complex functions. 3) more intense pressure from the market competition. With these problems, applying new methods to develop the automotive electronic software is highly appreciated.According to the request for the software development technology in the Automotive Electronic Control Technology, this thesis aims to develop the embedded system software with application in the automotive area, by combining the embedded software development technology with the new achievements in the development of the software engineering. The thesis focuses on the development of the Model-based software design approach and the Model-driven design approach, brings forward the Model-based Driven Automotive Electronics Development Approach, and concentrates on the problems concerned with this method. The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:First, we put forward the model-based driven automotive electronic software design approach. This thesis combines the Model-based software design approach with the Model-driven design approach, and puts forwards the ModaEDA method applying in the development of automotive electronic software. From a view of a system design methodology, this method uses the design method based on the model, and solves the problems of correctness and dependability in the Automotive Electronic Control...
