With the popularization of network technologies, computer application is developing from conventional distributed work mode to the direction of supporting group work across-the-board. In order to support group work through computers, especially to support group cooperative work, the utilization of workflow technology is a recommendable disposal method.Workflow has been becoming a hot topic in IT research field. And many workflow systems have been developing currently. However, A little work has been done in making a workflow system to support group work, especially group cooperative work. And the CSCW application is very different from the conventional application, such as community, dynamic, and so on. In order to make a workflow system support group work efficaciously, there are still some problems to be solved. The thesis just takes the group work as an application background, studies some key technologies for making a workflow system support group work, especially group cooperative work. And a workflow prototype system has been developed. All of these are supported by Chinese 863 high technology projects "Enterprise Cooperative Working Environment Based-on CORBA", "Computer Supported Cooperative Concept Design" and the ninth five-year scientific and technology key project "Cooperative Computing Components and Their Application in Enterprises". And the main research work and achievements includes:1 Workflow modelIn consideration of the features of group cooperative work, such as community, dynamic and different-place, we present a 3 level workflow model. Which includes process-level, task-level and resource-level. In this model, resource-level and task-level are introduced, and which enhances the ability of managing tasks and IT resources. In...
