Along with the development of the Internet and its increasing user number, Peer-to-peer (P2P) network is attracting more and more attention in the world as a new network application mode. An increasing number of specialists have emerged into the study of it and have got many contributions. However, the research on unstructured P2P network is still few while most of the attention was focused on structured P2P network.Because of its flexibility on query pattern and adaptability to dynamic environment, unstructured P2P network is largely deployed and become the mainstream in this field. However, unstructured P2P network suffers from its poor searching performance. So the searching algorithm all through is one main field of the study of unstructured P2P network.This dissertation analyses the searching algorithm of P2P network in detail and studies the searching algorithm for the unstructured P2P network. The concept and its practice of grouping the whole net according to communication latency is firstly proposed. Followed with it, the grouping algorithm, inner group searching algorithm, and multi-group synchronization searching algorithm based on query-proxy are proposed. The correctness and effectiveness of the algorithms have been proved both in theory and practice which supported by a series of simulation experiments.The theory of inner group ranking is proposed after the study to the features of...
