In 1948, British scientist Dennis Gabor invented holography and implemented in optics by physical instrument. The basic theory of holograpgy is modulating, recording, reconstructing and extracting unknown light wave from a given light wave. The development of holography introduce a new way to 3-D display, especial holography display . This thesis introduces new mathematics tools (Fractional Fourier transform and Wigner distribution transform) to uniformly describe Fresnel theory of scalar optical field. Additionally, we used advanced photoelectron technique, designed a new generation imaging system.Classical physics method request recording medium with high resolution and recording instrument with keen sense. It can not complement Real-time and dynamic display because recording and reconstructing are separated.Typical algorithm and display system can not generate image to meet the requirement of the market. Then the study of new algorithm and display system still has a large space. Combining advanced computer technology and holography, coding all kinds of 3D datum or images to get holograms recorded with space light modulator and using these holograms to modulate incidence light for carrying out holography display is our study ideal.This thesis covers the analysis of human vision, mathematics descrition of 3D scene and light wave, study of numerical calculation method and system implementing of holography display.The topic we have tackled are as the following:(1) Analyses the relation of Fresnel diffraction and factional Fourier transform, proposes a fast simulated algorithm of fractional Fourier transform based on FFT and make fractional Fourier transform hologram, at same time, we show that the fractional Fourier transform is better than Fourier transform in holography datum recording.
