This paper summaries our researches on the reconstruction of human body, which includes the modified algorithm based on contour, the visible-face algorithm for segmented data and scanline visible-face algorithm for the data of parallel contours, finally, two modeling tools, Bezier craves and NUAT B-spline curves, are presented for modeling the shape of human organs. For the reconstruction of the human trunk, the method based on contours is used. The tiling problem is discussed mainly and a "divide and conquer" method is presented. This method behaves better in the case of dissimilar contours.Since the complexity of human organ, the reconstruction is difficult to use the above method. A new voxel-based algorithm ,visible-face algorithm, is presented. This algorithm is easy to implement and can be used to obtain the separating surface. For the data of parallel contours, an algorithm named scanline visible-face algorithm is presented. Finally, two modeling tools , Bezier-like curves and NUAT B-spline curves, are presented. They includes the Bezier curves and B-spline curves, and can represent circle and ellipse accurately.
