Researching And Discussing On Writing And Editing Of Yanzichunqiu

Yanzichunqiu is an important ancient codes and records about the famous statesman of State Qi in the late of the Spring and Autumn Period. It was signed by Yanzi before but wasn't written by only one person on only one period. For a long time, it was always been the focus of educational circles that Yanzichunqiu was true or fake and when was Yanzichunqiu published in book form. The first question has been solved because the unearthed bamboo slips Yanzichunqi has been found in Han Tomb which was set in Yinqueshan in Linyi of Shandong Province. Then it became the general trend that sort out Yanzichunqiu overall, research the source of the materials and the published time of the book more deeply. With the important archaeological finds of the bamboo slips Rujiazheyan and Shuoyuanzashi and the research achievement of the scholar from Qing Period to nowadays, it became possible that make further study of the question what was the accurate time Yanzichunqiu Published in book form.In the article, we'll discuss on such question as Yanzi' life story and his family' social standing, the source of the materials of Yanzichunqiu, the process of Yanzichunqiu published in book form, the forming process of the type of writing and the literature value ete.The first part: Yanzi's life story and his family's social standing.They had made textual criticism about Yanzi's life story and his family's social standing and his contaction with his friends. We considered that Yanzi was approximately born in 586 B.C. and died in 507B.C. We deemed that Yanzi was the descendant of Songmugong and don't agree with the attitude form Records of the Historian that Yanzi was the citizen of Lai. Yanzi 'great-grade father has been conferred upon in Yan by Qihuangong so they used Yan as their surname. The person Yanlai who was recorded in Zuozhuan may be Yanzi' young brother, he was named after his father Yanhuanzi had perished the city which named Lai. In addition, we had also sorted out the connections between Yanzi, Confucius and Chengwuyu. The second part: The source of the materials of Yanzichunqiu.First, we think Yanzichunqiu was written according to the history materials of Qi State. We had contrasted the related parts between Yanzichunqiu and Zuozhuan , then found that the similar contents in Yanzichunqiu were more specific than in Zuozhuan. According to the result we consider Yanzichunqiu had adopted many materials from Qichunqiu.Second, Yanzichunqiu had mixed mang kinds of written materials on its time. Many parts were Copied form Zuozhuan, Mengzi, Zhuangzi, Shuoyuanzashi. It should be pay attention to that some contents of Yanzichunqiu were not written by people of Qi,this is our new discovery.Third, there were many faked parts in Yanzichunqiu. These parts centralized in Wenpian and most of them were theories which was formed as questions and answers between Jinggong and Shuxiang. The idedogical contents didn't conform to the tendency of the period and the formulations of "the people are the root of a county", "enjoy happiness with the people", "spread the favour to all of county" etc. had reflected that the writer had adopted many thoughts of Simeng school.Finally, Yanzichunqiu also included the civil oral legends, folk tales, and stories which had been reconstructed or fabricated by the editors themselves. These legends are divided into two categories credible and incredible: the first four chapters in Jing Gong Zhishi were oral legends that were collected purposely by editors, which could be proved in chapter YinghuoShouxu entirely adopting crambo. The other category is incredible .In the book of Yanzichunqiu, many stories about Yanzi are in coincidence with others' legends in the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States. In addition, the recordation are not careful in some degree. According to all of the above , we consider that the stories about Yanzi were from those legends which the editor of Yanzichuqiu widely collected and then recomposed. The rest part of the book is obviously unreal. But it seemd that it was invented intentionally, not caused by the writers' inpreciseness.The third part: The Forming Process Of Yanzi chuqiu .This paper asserts that Yanzi chunqiu was based on the history materials of state Qi, adopted all kinds of written materials and civil legend at that time, added abundant personal political beliefs materials, and invented a number of elements of stories. All of these formed the whole vision of Yanzichunqiu before Liuxiang revised it .A lot of unity at the beginning and the end of the works indicates that it was edited uniformly by someone , and this phenomena was also found in Yinqueshan bamboo flake of Han Tomb. According to the main contents' features of the book ,we believes that it was finished in the medium-term of the Warring States, and as for its writer, there is a great possibility to be ChunyuKun, a scholar from Jixia . Liuxiang reconstructed these materials.The fourth part: Style and Literary Value.This paper analyses the formation of the book's biography style and its literary character, and explored its complex features and the relations between it and family biography. The biography style of Yanzichuqiu became the pioneer of SiMaqian's Records of the Historian. We reviews the process that the style of Chinese history books descended gradually in focus on emperors or kings . We considered that the formation of the style was not caused by individual, however, it embodied that the evolution of the times and the gradually rising status of ordinary people facilitated the style's development; The biography style of Yanzichunqiu emergenced as the Warring States Period required. This shows that the times required the performance of ordinary people. These works mainly concerned those figures such as "Beiguosao", "Shanghuainv", "Penchengshi", while YanZi himself were lowered to a subordinate role or clues figures.This demonstrated that the culture center was on the decline along with the development of the times. Before governmental history books timely responded to this phenomenon, the non-governmental narrative way was quietly changing. When SiMaqian responded to the voice that "Are those emperors and generals born!" and created a literary form of biography, the impaction of Yanzichunqiu.
