The excimer laser diopter correction and aberration correction have been proved efficiency and safety. Based on CAD/CAM, Applied Optics, Ophthalmology,Biomedicine and Computer techonlogy, This paper studied the principle of excimer laser refractive surgery and aberration correction. The paper's research result had been directly used by Ophthalmic excimer laser system.A basic element of visual optics is described in the chapter 2. Based on the diopter status of myopia and hypermetropia , the paper presented the principle of excimer laser refractive surgery, the change of impacting cornea curvature on the cornea diopter. In this chapter,we also discussed excimer laser -corneal tissue interactions and photoablation . Determine the relationship between the fluence of ArF excimer laser and the cornea ablation rate, attain the relationship between the energy density and the ablation depth. The factors that would influence the predictability and stability of the photorefractive surgery outcome are also investigated. The scanning algorithm can be optimized. In order to improve corneal surface smoothness, the laser scanning style was studied in the same chapter.Chapter 3 erected the relationship between refraction error and cornel ablation depth in theory.The paper proposed various mathematical models which can be used for proceed the simple myopia, simple hypermetropia, compund myopia astigmatism, compund hypermetropia astigmatism,simple myopia astigmatism,simple hypermetropia astigmatism,mixed astigmatism . The influence of the astigmatic axis and the degree of astigmatism on the correction field is discussed.Wavefront aberration guided excimer laser cornea ablation is a main method of customised corneal ablation. Comparing to traditional refractive errors correcting, the principle and technique are quite different.Basis on the concept of human eye wavefront aberration, chapter 4 studied Zemike polynomials to represent the aberrated wavefront in the pupil and fitted the data to a Zernike series to reconstruct the wavefront aberrations of living human eye. Researched the relationship between second-order zernike coefficients and conventional spectacles. We verfied that wavefront aberration guided excimer laser cornea ablation surgery is feasibility and veracity, in order to provide theory foundation for correct the low order and the high order aberration of the human eyes. In this paper, depending on the theory and experiment, it calibrated the mathematics relation between the ablation depth and aberration at special corneal position. The schema of the excimer laser aberration correction system was provided.According to this paper's research result. We developed the Ophthalmic excimer laser system.(AOV-FB system) with cooperation of Su Zhou 66 Vision Tech Co., Ltd. During animal and clinic practices , it has achieved satisfied outcomes.
