The micro seismic signals detecting system of Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS is mainly discussed in the article. It consists of three parts, which are seismic sensor and its signal conditioning, seismic wave detecting and analysis, feature extracting of seismic signal and target identification.In this article, generation and propagation theory of microseismic wave, which generated by a target of military interest moving on the ground, has been studied firstly. On the base of this theory, we deduce that Rayleigh wave can be detected and used to recognizing target moving in the distance. Accordingly, we design a signal collecting system that can be used to collecting microseismic wave generated by a target moving on the ground, choose and improve on the magnetic-electronic seismic sensor that has high sensitivity and can sustain high loading, and design and make pre-amplifier and conditioning circuit which need micropower, and it can work continuously not less than 7 days. Static tests have been made and a many of effective data is obtained, and dynamic tests have been done and the result shows that the system can endure impacting load of lOOOOg.The data obtained from the tests is used to analysis, extracting various features from the signal, such as zero-crossing number in time domain, frequency distribution and power spectrum density in frequency domain, time-frequency distribution, wavelet package energy distribution in time-frequency domain etc, and on the base of these features, the theory and method of multi-sensor information fusion is applied in microseismic signal. The system can alarm person intrusion in 30m distances and vehicle intrusion in 300m distances, and can distinguish person from vehicle, and for vehicle, ulteriorly can distinguish them wheeled or tracked.In the purpose of system can adapt to all kinds of geography condition, mathematic model of microseismic signal generated by a target moving on the ground has been made at the end of this article. The model has been used to emulating stress signal of different target to ground, Rayleigh wave in different terrain. This is aneffective means to obtain and considerate microseismic signals of moving target in various terrain.
