This paper mainly focus on the problems have relationship with software reliability, such as software reliability model, the cost of software development, optimal release problems. The main research work of this paper may divide into two parts:The first part is about software reliability engineering, which include the generalization of G-O Nonhomogeneous Poisson Process software reliability model and improvement of Ohba three-parameters software reliability model. The second part concerns software optimal release problems, which involve the cost of software development, the elementary models and extended models of software optimal release problems。The detail results are shown as follow:1. Upon the basis of G-O Nonhomogeneous Poisson Process software reliability models, we present a generalization. It includes many Nonhomogeneous Poisson Process software reliability models, completes the research of its Maxim Likelihood Estimation to each parameter.2. Upon the basis of recent software reliability models, we present a software reliability model of upgraded version software system. This model began with the reliability features of different versions of software system, based on NHPP software reliability growth model, can describe the multi-versions software system more exactly.3. Compare and analyze the optimal release problem of software reliability models, introduce the release policy restricted by the cost, reliability and their synthesis respectively.4. Discuss the multi-versions software optimal release problems, present the optimal release policy that restricted by software development cost.
