The Technology Survey Of Leisure Alienation

Questioning the course of human development, when people got rid of the conditions in which people had to work hard in order to survive step by step,leisure emerged as the times required.Because the development of the productivity promoted by the technical revolution and the great production of industrialization constantly, especially the swift development of contemporary science and technology, leisure has became the life style and the necessary condition of the human overall development. The development of technology has raised the efficiency of production, and has offered the possibility of time for people to relax;along with the extensive application of technology in leisure,at one time have richened the contents and ways of leisure, the leisure alienation came one after another. Leisure alienation is the contrary of leisure, which makes leisure to become the hostile strength of self-denying for the realization of human values, which is the deviation of the values of alienation. Its essential characters is the parochialism and shortness of the cognition of the main bodies,the importuning and compelling of the objective functions as well as the displacing and lacking the duality of main bodies and objects.Technology interacts with leisure, on the one hand, leisure is the pulling strength for the technological development; on the other hand, technology is the ultimate strength to drive leisure and its evolvement. This paper has carried through a historical pursuing on the relation of leisure and technology, discussing the creating of leisure alienation.When the technological characters of modern leisure are coming to the foreland increasingly, when technology is providing the affluent contents and manners for the modern leisure,the negative influences of technology are also appearing at the same time, so technology has constituted the origin of leisure alienation.On the basis of having analyzed the technological foundation stone of leisure alienation, this paper questions closely from the perspective of technological view, addressing itself to the optimism of technology, the paradox of technological values as well as the rationality of values, which have led to the leisure alienation.Leisure alienation may be called the major threat to the realization of self-worth of mankind,whose important source comes from technology, especially seen from the value angle, technology and leisure represent in the form of purposiveness, and the compact correlation between technical evolution and human civilization as well as the theory of the social construction of technology provide important approaches for the defense of the leisure alienation,that is to say, to guard against leisure alienation through the controlling of the realization for technical values and the reconstructing of value rationality.
