Nowadays to build a harmonious socialistic society has become an entirely new governing philosophy of the Party and government. Building harmonious society needs harmony of human beings, which should be based on harmonious education. Harmonious education is not only the urgent appeal of realizing harmonious society, which embodies the developing requirement of advanced culture; but also the only way of realizing the comprehensive development of people. To resolve the disharmony problem between man and nature, people and society, and human being themselves is what the existed traditional education conceptions cannot look forward to, which include knowledge education, technology education, job-hunting education, and the prevailing competence-oriented education. Therefore, harmonious education should become our country's mainstream education thought in the new era and the banner which guides the development and reform of education in our country and even the world. Study on harmonious education helps to deepen the understanding about the effect and significance of education in building harmonious society, explore the realistic requirement of education to form new harmonious education view, seek the sticking point of education problem to bring forward the boosting of educational reform and optimizing the prevailing education and promote the forming of new educational conception, and form the theoretical basis of educational development which facilitates harmonious construction of economy, politics, culture, society and ecology. To pursue the essence of harmonious education, advocate the goodness of harmonious education, procure the benefit of harmonious education, and achieve the beauty of harmonious education should become our academic mission and the end-result of education.Harmonious education has its deep ideological origin in the developing history of education from the ancient to today from home and abroad. This paper starts from differentiating and analyzing harmony and harmonious education concept, straighten out harmonious education thoughts from the ancient to today from home and abroad. Based on this, facing realistic problems, aiming at the disharmony phenomenon existed between man and nature, people and society, and between human being themselves, this thesis animadverts the deep-seated problems in traditional education value such as the stinking of epistemology, flooding of individualism and losing of completeness of humanity from three aspects, and penetrates into the reasons leading to these problems. This thesis points out that in terms of disharmony problem between man and nature, reconstructing nature becomes the purpose of education and value choice of people in common. Ruledominating of technology and arrogating of epistemology are widely accepted and practiced. As far as the disharmony problem between people and society is concerned, the flooding of individualism is the main reason, with philosophy of nihilism, skepticism, and liberalism as its manifestation. With respect to the disharmony problem between human beings, traditional education dissevers the integral existence of human being. In realistic layer of education, the present economic development is in a period of industrialization. There is no doubt that the deriving utilitarianism, technologism, and job-hunting education dominate educational trend. Lack of thoroughness and integrity of competence education is also obvious, which deviates from the noumenon and ultimate value of education.This thesis sticks to combining of destruction and construction, and sets up harmonious education theory from four aspects: harmonious education philosophical basis argumentation, harmonious education purpose survey, harmonious education value construction, and harmonious education practice design, which makes the exploring of harmonious education theory an integral one.Harmonious education is an extremely complicated system. The exposition of the principle and essence of harmonious education should be based upon the analysis and explanation of the whole system from a systematic dimension. This thesis takes the scientific concept of development as the guiding line, adopts multi-angle, multilayer and multi-discipline research viewpoint, exerts philosophical methods, including materialist conception of history, methods on contradiction, and factor analysis, thoughts of hominine all-round development of Marxism, systematic analysis and the thinking mode and logical methods of molding philosophy, which is a new systematic philosophy staging on the crossing-point of philosophy in the new era. With dynamic hold of harmony between people's development and educational development as main line, the whole paper evolves around harmony between man and nature, people and society, and human being themselves and corresponding harmonious education.In the process of pectination and argumentation of harmonious education philosophy and basic principles, the paper deeply explains thoughts of hominine all-round development of Marxism, demonstrates the relationship between conflicting development in contradiction theory and harmonious development, and also reveals the ubiquity of law of harmony from the center-turning of modern philosophy and modern technological findings. Harmonious education takes"molding philosophy"as its philosophical basis, which is a new philosophical system. The mould theory philosophy takes"harmony"as its soul, and parsing and answering why harmony can be possible as its important mission, selects the harmonious substance of man and nature as its study object, tries to utilize the philosophical method of metaphysics to analyze harmony between"existence"and"substance", mental existence and physical existence, deeply argues why harmony between the subjective and the objective can become possible, discloses that civilized human being and human being's culture are contradictory and unified, explains why unification and harmony between intelligential human being and spiritualism in the nature can become possible from the perspective of science and humanism, and points out that people's pursue of value should be harmonious unification of"essence, goodness, benefit, and beauty". The mould theory philosophy provides a new framework in the understanding of harmonious society and harmonious education.From the most essential sense, harmonious education is the education which facilitates the harmonious development of human beings. It functions in the basis of the comprehensive enhancement of people's quality and the construction of harmonious personality. Therefore, harmonious development between human beings is the ultimate goal of harmonious education. At the same time, centered on people's harmony and how to implement harmonious education, the thesis explores how to achieve harmony between people and society, man and nature. With regard to harmonious education construction of human being, harmony of human beings should be analyzed first. It consists of the connotation and developing requirements of harmonious human being, peoples'comprehensive quality, factors and construction of personality, and harmonious personality and its characteristics; harmonious education of human beings should be explained next, which includes the investigation of relationships between each educational value dimensions, i.e. essence, goodness, beauty, holy, health, and wealth, the development and construction of harmonious quality education based on moral, intelligence, physique, beauty, laboring, and sentiment, and how to construct harmonious personality through education especially through moral education, which provide the basic guarantee of people's harmonious education from pursue of value, factor relationships and main approaches of quality education. The thesis conducts harmonious reconstruction of the prevailing various education teleology. Harmonious development is the eternal theme of harmonious education. Concept of harmonious education development should comprise all-round education quality concept, orderly education process concept, lifeful education innovation concept, adapting education opening concept, and people-oriented education personality concept.The ideality of harmonious education, the harmonious development of human beings, or the harmonious management concepts of education, all need the support of education value theory. This thesis explains harmonious education concept from the intercultural connection between western and eastern cultures. In terms of relationship between man and nature, the concept follows the order of nature; with regard to the social development of human being and education, the concept follows education precursor cooperation and educational equity and justice. As far as human being and relationship between people are concerned, the concept follows education discrepancy personality and education democratization concept. These five educational concepts guide the harmonious development of education. The thesis publicly declares the three-dimensional value viewpoint in harmonious education of human beings. First, stick to the concept of constant development of man and nature, and deal with life quality problem in a comprehensive and harmonious manner. Second, build up a comprehensive coordinating development concept. Harmony between free and all-round development of individual and social development is fundamental value objective pursued by harmonious education. Third, dedicate to people's comprehensive sufficient harmonious development concept, and cultivate persons who achieve sufficient harmonious development from all aspects. The thesis also indicates that judicial development, characteristic development and innovation development are social value orientation of harmonious education. Judicial development is the social harmonious requirement of education. Characteristic development is the requirement of distinction development and integral diversification harmonious development of education. Innovation development is the requirement of dynamic harmonious development, basic existing state and essential harmonious development of education.Harmonious education is the goal and appeal of the innovation and development of Chinese education in modern times, whose theoretical value and practical significance have gradually been accepted, acknowledged and understood by people. After making detailed theoretical study on the key problems of the possibility and feasibility of harmonious education, it becomes an inevitable subject that how to make the objectives and values of harmonious education implemented and represented in the concrete and complicated process of educational practices, because The ideality of harmonious education, the harmonious development of human beings, or the realization of purpose and value of harmonious education, all are needed to be carried out and testified in educational practical activities. This requires us to give sufficient and reasonable investigation to the countermeasures of harmonious education. Based on the current situation and development of education, the thesis proposes strategies and suggestions to the construction of harmonious education, which include the construction of harmonious education system and harmonious education environment, such as the renewal of education concept, the rectification of education behavior, and the turning of education appraise. The thesis also suggests constructing the social foundation of harmonious education, intensifying harmonious education to the public, and adjusting the arrangement of social education policy and system. The thesis claims that the objective and policy tropism of cultivating harmonious persons should be protruded, and the incline of purely pursuing individual standard theory or social standard theory should be opposed. People-oriented tropism in education objective and quality policy should be protruded, and the incline of scientism and controlling in traditional education appraise should be animadverted. Educational process should constantly pursue the harmony between the development of education and students. Educational contents should scientifically integrate natural science, human science, and social science. Educational manner and methods of human beings should conform to the developing disciplinarian of people.The full,sufficient and harmonious development of human beings and the overall progress of the society are the highest level of the harmonious society and the ultimate strategic objective of the educational development. In the course of the construction of the harmonious socialist society, the educators should seize the opportunities and put the concept of harmonious education into concrete practice to contribute to the realization of harmonious education and the construction of harmonious society. The full, sufficient and harmonious development of human beings will also promote the national happiness index and the progress extent of society, and the concept of harmonious education will be shining with dazzling luster in the future.
