The Outline Of Developing Students' Practical Capability

This dissertation deployed surrounding three core issues in turn, the first, to define the intension of the practical capability, the second, to construct the structure model of the practical capability, the third, to explore the principles and methods of training practical capability in school education.The definition of the practical capability was with a view to practice and capability. Practice is a process of a person to form and implement the practical notion efficiently. Capability is a summation of mental and physical characters which ensure a person to complete a certain activity successfully. Therefore, the practical capability is a summation of mental and physical characters of a person to form and complement the practical notion, which is a energy system of body and mind, and embodying finally at the quality and level of a person to fulfill a task.At the second part, based on comprehensive investigation, we combined the theory and factual materials, using logical induction to construct the structure of the practical capability. Concretely, we selected 30 subjects with high practical capability in five practice activity fields, which including material manufacture, spiritual manufacture, knowledge manufacture, communication practice and human being itself manufacture, interviewing them one by one using an interview questionnaire about apperceiving body and mind traits. The interview was mainly about their psychological and behavioral characters and the growing course of these 30 subjects. We picked up 4263 expressions which can best represent practical capability in the interview record which containing more than 300,000 words. We categorized these expressions according to the logical relationship, and generalized the constituents of the practical capability from the categories. There are 13 constituents which attributed in 4 dimensions to construct practical capability structure model. The dimensions includes the motivation factor of practice, the common ability factor of practice, the special ability factor of practice, and context factor of practice. The motivation factor of practice includes interest, success motivation, and press. The common ability factor of practice includes apperceive of context, knowledge construction, information communication, interpersonal communication, and body movement. The special ability factor of practice includes special knowledge and special technique. The context factor of practice includes matching analysis ability, plan ability and perform ability.At the third part, according to the contracture model of the practical capability, we proposed the principles and methods of training practical capability in school education. In order to explain clearly, we divide the practical capability into several chapters according the four dimensions. Based on comprehensive reference of the research results of psychological and physical, we analyzed the formation and development of the basic disciplinarian of each constituents of the practical capability. And we also analyzed the problems and limitations in training the motivation factor of practice, the common factor of practice, the special ability factor of practice, and context factor of practice in school educations in our country. Finally, we proposed pertinently some principles and countermeasures to train practical capability in school education.
