Scientism is scientific "metaphysical" ideas, it is to point a faith and value pursuit to natural scientific paradigm with the great development of natural science. Scientism permeated gradually to the education research areas and produced significant influence. Looking at our education research, its many aspects from language, content, knowledge system to the way of thinking, method and development direction are gradually invasion by scientism. But, no matter in practice as well as in theory, education research did not think over and understanding scientism.And this study, it is beyond the previous research and talk about significant influence on education research from scientism from the history, the reality and the logic of itself. So, this paper studies the problems that scientism experienced what kind of development process; why it have such a big influence on education research and what is the theoretical foundation; how do we look at these influences and the results.Scientism impacted on education research for a long history. In the turn of the century it began permeate in education research and unified in together. In the west, it has experienced three development periods:formation, flourishing and reflection and recession. Every period had representative figure of famous. This paper analyzed the characters of the view, so as to make a profound understanding on every period. In China, scientism impacting on education research also has three stages, but appeared more complex than western and showed the characteristics of western different for social change, ideology and so on. For example, in the facing of the influence of science China's education research experienced a choice. In the selection process China's psychology of pragmatism and the idea of applying of traditional culture plays a very important role; Scientism is directly into the value of the formation of a creed, it is easy to cause the scientific spirit and attitude of truth lost, and they have been short of the strict logical theory system;Scientism influencing on education research is based on its own logic theoretical foundation. The theoretical foundation includes four aspects:the essence of epistemology, theory of knowledge hegemony, methods of hegemony limitlessly, and tools of rationalism. With the development of the essence of epistemology, education research take the education essences and the law as an important research task, but ignore the living education reality. As a result it formed the contradiction with education theory world and life world, with the commitment and discipline research. Theory of knowledge hegemony embodies the accuracy of the language, knowledge system and the growth of knowledge for pursuit in education research; embodies universality, objective knowledge, and neutrality knowledge of attention, and ignore the commonsense education language, local knowledge and humanities knowledge of great importance. Methods limitlessly in education research that causes the education to blind worship of scientism research method, which leads to the question of the research methods of empirical description and humanities. The tools of rationalism developing led to the opposition of the study of value and the fact; caused the technology in education means the use too much; revealed instrumentality of value means side, and covered the objective value.Facing to great influence, education research how to walk on, this paper puts forward constructing of a scientific humanistic education researches beyond scientism. This approach is decided by the nature, purpose, object to the aspects of education research.It is also the sublimation of this study and the inevitable to place.This paper has two innovations. At first, it explained the characteristics on scientism in China education research. The second, it reveals and reflects the theoretical logic foundation of scientism in education research, and develop a new field. It has the vital significance on overall review of education research and the trend of study of education.
