For our part, we are trying through this thesis to make an objective analysis of China's new involvement in African. By highlighting the role that China can play as a new player of international affairs to help African countries in their struggle for development. This clearly detailing all the benefits that Africa derives from this new partnership. We will of course also consider the evident risks and dangers posed by the Asian giant into the black continent.The research methodology employed both qualitative and quantitative data collection. This is in the form of existing statistics, which are utilized to the study.This work is divided in 6 chapters with an Introduction and a Conclusion. The introduction provided a historic of the relations between Africa and China. It has also introduced the study by articulating the problem statement and research questions. The chapter 1 has attempted to provide the motivations that drive China into Africa Chapter 2 has tried to analyze the Sino-Africa new policy. The chapter 3 has attempted to explore the economic relation between China and Africa. The chapter 4 has pointed out the opportunities that China can give to Africa for its development. The chapter 5 has tried to analyze China's negative impacts on Africa. The last chapter tried to see the implications for EU and USA.
