The dissertation takes economic organization as the basic point that is to discuss the female social role and their position of colony under the unique Uygur cultural context in the present time, through the description of the Uygur women's condition in the realistic environment in which the social economy has greatly developed. Meanwhile, just for the current condition, the study about the Uygur female group basically belongs to the blank region in the academic research. So I hope to provide a detailed case for the study of the ethnology, anthropology and female research in China, then to make certain contribution on promoting the development of Chinese national-minorities women. The dissertation is composed of seven chapters:The first chapter, which is the prolegomenon of the dissertation, is mainly about the background and value of the study and the reasons for the selection of the topic, the domestic and international current research conditions, then, some other basic related notions and research process about the dissertation are also provided here. The second chapter is the introduction of the macroscopic environment including social and time background of this research: the four level of the field spots are unfolded according to the two-dimensional angles that are the space and historical evolution; Afterward, taking the realistic stage as the background, it reflects the whole basic living condition of Uygur women in Kashengaer, thus draws out of the three kinds of economic organizations which have greatly influenced the lives of the Uygur women. The main body of the dissertation consists of the third, fourth and fifth chapters, which are the description and analysis of the field materials. The third chapter starts from the active procedure, scale and type of the "qiada day", then makes an elaboration on its origin, reasons why it can be in vogue, natures and macroscopic functions, manifesting the interactive process among those Uygur women who take part in it--the folk economic organization with unofficial structural feature; The fourth chapter depicts the Uygur women's lives in the semi-official economic organizations such as the embroidery association, the vegetables association and the apricot association, taking the gender labor system as the beginning point, to study how this kind of social organization's intrinsic mechanism effects the Uygur women; The fifth chapter shows the important facts how the governmental labor department organizes the rural Uygur girls to work in the factories along the coast, and the main fact which has changed those girls' lives, displaying the impaction of the official economic organization which exerts influence on the Uygur women community and the latter's corresponding response. The main body of the dissertation bases on the female- principle anthropology, placing the female in the concrete social relations and the cultural background. The sixth chapter is a further study of dissertation. It discusses the law of the rational existence and development of the three kinds of economic organizations, from the analysis of the three aspects-organization's internal culture, social group type and comparing with the other women organizations; In the last chapter, it connects the two ways of female empowerment with the development of the three kinds of economic organizations, then analyzes the actual way of the Uygur women's development in the three kinds of economicorganizations. Finally, I make the following conclusion--that is: TheUygur women's development in the economic organizations is the practical process with the national and globalizational characters that should integrate the two ways of the female empowerment and base on the fact that is to absorb the essence of many kinds of female developments.
