It is the question that how the USA could keep order and unity in the plural society of liberty and democracy this paper tries to answer,and the political integration,which is the process to be integrated in the plural society.It is to be shown the ideas of that American creed and democratic constitutionalism institution originated from the religion,of that the effect operation of American democratic constitutionalism institution benefits from the religion,of that to some extend the religion rationale also penetrate American policy aim both inward and outward in the paper.That is to say,the mainstream religion of the US----Protestantism plays a key role to support the order and unity in the plural societyFirstly,the overall value of Christianity is the ideology foundation for integration of keeping American order and unity.American democracy and liberty are not an independent set of value system, it was derivation of the Protestantism culture and was ruled by some core value of Christianity,which are abiding by the law is the precondition of believing in the liberty,following the social order is the base of advocating the equity and undertaking the individual social responsibility is the principle of pursuing the personal right.For the Christians,which are the majority of the US,abiding by the law, following the order and undertaking the responsibility are following the commandment of God and the Calling of the Christians.Secondly,the deepening and popularizing of the Protestantism rationale build the historical and social foundation for American integration.American identity is the approval of the democracy and liberty thoughts,also is the approval of the Protestantism culture.However,the approval was the result of exploring and knowing by America and their ancestors rather accomplished in one move.The work of exploring both was the process of knowing deeply the democracy and liberty thoughts and the process of popularizing of them,which is the process of shaping American identity.Since American identity is the one of admitting the authority of God,the whole society extended and deepened the agreement of respecting the absolute authority while extending the agreement of democracy and liberty so that the agreement of following the law,the order and responsibility also was extended and deepened.Thirdly,Protestant church system is supporting institutionally American political integration. American democratic constitutionalism institute based on the democracy and liberty rationale is the extension of the Protestant Congregational Church organization system.Its effective operation relied on the Christianity ethics and the church system.Be independent of the worldly system of government, the huge and mature church system,which has already permeated everywhere of American society, has been continuously inculcating the Christianity ethics in the numerous disciples for their whole life so that the citizens with the faith,law-abiding and responsibility could be provided to guarantee the fluent work of the public rights.Not all societies own the three factors to encourage America to fulfill the integration,so it is careful to apply American liberty and democracy totally into the other societies with different backgrounds and characteristics.Individualism has the intendancy of disintegration naturally; however,it didn't become the factor of breaking up the society due to the regulation from the constitutional factors above.Of course there were also crisis of breakup happened historically in the US,but they were dissolved gradually based on deepening and extending agreement.So there might exist the danger of social out -of- order result from the blind pursuing the liberty and democracy only according to the understanding partially for the societies without the properties of constitutional factors above.
