Development Of Producer Services In Shanghai

Shanghai is endeavoring to become international economy, finance, trade and shipping center, the realize of development strategy position needs industry carriers, and producer services are the ones Shanghai needs urgently to develop so as to build "the four centers" . This paper focuses on two aspects, one is discussing theory of producer services as a whole, second is making empirical research on producer services development of the city of Shanghai. As to the theory discuss of producer services, the content includes industrial characteristics, industrial classification, and industrial growing factor, striving to let us understand producer services as a whole deeply. As to the empirical research on producer services of Shanghai, the content includes comparative research, industrial relationship, industrial division inner metropolitan circle. Surrounding those two topics, we spend much writings on the sum up of past papers, industrial evolvement and developing laws of international metropolitan, in order to get some uses for reference from past study and advanced regions' development experiences.Approximately this paper includes theoretical part and empirical part. The former includes number 1, 2,3 and 4 chapters, emphasizing particularly on theoretical analysis of producer services, including analysis on past papers, references of international metropolitan industrial development, theory constructing and discussing on classification methods of producer services. The empirical part includes number 5, 6 and 7 chapters, emphasizing particularly on empirical research on Shanghai' s industrial development, including industrial research based on census and investigation datas, industrial relationship study based on input-output table, and industrial divisioning study based on industrial organizational models.This paper does not seek the full of logic and the beauty of writing,it just wishes to provide some help for study of relevant domain. We think this paper' s contributions are mainly as follows:First, this paper carries through relatively full sum up of existing research papers, providing a good reference flat for researchers on relevant domains. The research circle in Western countries began study on producer services in 1960s, and has had abundant fruits. By comparison, the research on producer services just begins, and we cannot find systematic research in this area. This paper is just an attempt of the study on producer services development in metropolitans.Second, this paper goes along certain innovative discussing on the industrial classification of producer services. It puts forward producer services are industries serve to the factors of enterprises or organizations, which include human, capital, product, technology, information and management, so producer services can be classified into service to human, service to capital, service to product, service to information, service to technology and service to management. What' s more, this paper brings forward statistics index of producer services based on study on classification of U. N. and our country, and this is helpful to understanding and collecting of producer services.Third, this paper makes deep analysis on industrial interrelation among industries of Shanghai, besides consuming relationship between industry and service industry, it emphasizes on industrial interrelation among different industries and different service industries, and this kind of analysis is not found before.
