| "China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone" will be built between China and ASEAN in ten years, which is positively responded to the trend of regional economic integration between two countries. It is a great act which China developed regional economic cooperation with neighbours after it acceded to WTO. It is a great event in the course of South Asia modernized development. And it will exert an unestimated influence to Asia and to the world political & economic pattern. Meanwhile it takes unprecedented opportunities and challenges to the Southwest national regions that has closely relations with geoeconomy of ASEAN, which takes a very glorious prospects for national economy from closed situation to open. Facing new developing situation ,it is an important actual problem and has profound significance that how to seize the opportunities and develop advantages to fasten development of Southwest national economy and carry out strategy of developing the western region .The essay is composed of five parts.Chapter One Expounding the era backgrounds of establishing China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone. It includes four key points. Firstly, economic globalization and regional economic integration are main trends in world economic development today. They are contradiction but connected closely, which affect world and regional economy gradually, which develop quickly following these two directions. Secondly, as a result of regional economic integration,EU, the North American Free Trade and the APEC expand gradually, which take a great influence to regional economy and the whole world economy. Thirdly, ASEAN is the greatest regional economic cooperation organization in the scale, which increases weight of roles for members of ASEAN in international politics and economy, it also accelerate development of Eastern Asia economical integration. Fourthly, since ninety 20th century, especially Asia financial crisis, "9 Ml" in America, new changes of Eastern Asia economic and political pattern have appeared: American economic and safety strategy have been adjusted constantly. Japan as a leading bird has developed not fast enough. Economy of ASEAN hasoccurred rapid fluctuation. All of them expose deep gradation problems in Eastern Asia economy, strengthening motor step by step is more and more prominent. Cooperating with China is an inevitable choice to all the countries in the world, especially to countries in Eastern Asia.Chapter Two Discussing establishment of frame for china-ASEAN Free Trade Zone. Firstly, analyzing necessary and possibility for establishing china-ASEAN Free Trade Zone from economic angle. It's illustrated that if ASEAN allies China to establish free trade zone, they can make up drawbacks in ASEAN, exploit mutual complementary between china and ASEAN, embody reality choice of mutual benefit between them.
